We are a non profit and sell items in our store that volunteers ship, so the shipping process can get complicated when the shipping origin and destinations change depending on the person shipping.
Some of our shipping rules are simple, but some are complicated, and ifi need help, Octolize respond quickly and effectively.

Very good experience with the Flexible Shipping: we had bought a 4.06 version and Octolize helped us to update to 4.07 simply by going back to our account and download the new version. Easy and nice !

I compared new rest api woocommerce plugins to get USPS shipping estimate for cart total.

I found Octolize to have the most accurate estimates. This is especially true for orders consisting of several small items. We don't lose money on shipping, and the estimate is not too high, turning away new customers. Octolize just does the best job of packing when an order is more than one item.

It did take some time to get the setting correct, but they were helpful and prompt.

I purchased Octolize’s Flexible Shipping Bundle on March 11, 2025 for $139. Less than six months later, the plugin became unusable and I could no longer rely on it for my store.

When I contacted support through tickets #32112 and #34636, I explained that the website claimed my email was not associated with an account. I even attached the official invoice PDF with my order number to prove the purchase. Every response I received ignored this and simply repeated that I should log in with my email address, which was the very problem I was reporting.

After a few of these canned replies, Octolize stopped responding altogether. I was left with no working solution, no replacement, and no refund. I paid for a full year of service and support but received less than half that, along with a complete lack of accountability.

I will never renew with this company and strongly recommend that others avoid Octolize if they value reliability and customer service.

USPS is phasing out their current User ID method of accessing their APIs and there doesn't seem to be too many plugin alternatives that have already been updated to support the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret method of accessing API. But USPS Live Rates by Octolize had a solution and even though there was set up issues because of my lack of knowledge, the support was excellent. Within two detailed emails from support over two days, they had guided me to a flawless working way to offer buyers different shipping methods through USPS. Highly recommend for anyone needing to pull live rates for USPS, but they also offer other shipping carriers as well.
