Olympia Removals & Storage Reviews

Friendly and reliable for a great price

Just brilliant, went above and beyond both in preparation, packing and on the day. Can recommend Olympia highly enough if you want to take the stress out of moving

Thanks to all the team. Very helpful. Everything was moved and replaced in roughly the correct place. Best thing was theirv constant smiles, even when we asked for stuff to be moved to a different room

Team of guys showed up, cleared the house in no time at all, packed everything into 2 vans, drove 4 hours, and unpacked the whole lot. Very professional and never moaned once (despite the steps up to the flat at the other end). Thank you very much.

Yes, the bubble-wrap took far too long to turn up and the guys doing the job were 90 minutes early on the day, but the company stuck to the price quoted, did an efficient job on the day, and (even when there were a couple of hitches) Bill co-ordinated the entire operation in a gracious, friendly and professional way. I am very likely to use their service again.

Can’t really fault the removal itself. 4 chaps arrived at the agreed time & loaded us quickly and smoothly. No issues the the removers were polite and positive. At the other end, they decanted out belongings, re-assembled the larger furniture items and were on their way by 3.30pm. Happy days.

I see the point below about WhatsApp communications. Yes it takes some getting used to if you tend to converse in email. However, these chaps are not sitting in front of computers all day like many of us.

Good job and I would happily recommend Olympia.

The team was very professional, kept to the discussed time, great attention to detail and Peter from customer service was amazing. I would highly recommend.

Very happy with Olympia Removals! On the removal day the team worked non-stop, carefully moving and loading my furniture, they listened to my instructions even though we had a screaming upset baby on the day. I could not ask for anymore. Definitely recommend!

Olympia have moved our belongings from Reading to Basingstoke .
Guys were very polite and friendly . They stacked items and furniture very carefully and later unloaded it to desired rooms.
Absolutely brilliant job done 👍
Thanks guys

Absolute brilliant job by these guys today helping me move to my new home. Everything run so smooth from first contact, booking, and the move overall. Great communication from start to finish. Would definitely use them again and most definitely would recommend to anyone

I am very happy with the service, i was booking later than i would have liked the quoting process was quick, easy and accurate for the size of Van i needed.

Everything went smoothly with communication pre-move and the team that came were friendly and efficient. I had some high value items that were packed and moved carefully. The price was very good and i have no reason not to recommend them.

Easy and flexible booking, Bill was so helpful and easy to communicate with. The two guys who moved for us where really good and quick and didn't mind that we had to wait a while for our keys. Would definitely recommend.

Good communication leading up to the day. On the day the two removal men (Brian and Stuart) were friendly and efficient and they really took the stress out of moving. Would definitely recommend.

So due to last minute issues (won't go into it) I phoned up and they sorted us out with 3 days notice. Great price and not only was Bill a pleasure to deal with the movers omar, Moore and Bob were brilliant and worked extremely hard and looked after our stuff. Highly recommend! Thank you!

we had the best move you could possibly ask for.olympia removals took all the stress out of the move for us. the three removal men were so helpful we couldnt ask for better. thank you olympia. the three men, Omar,Mo,Bryan, were very polite and extremely helpful, a credit to the company

I had initially contacted EJ Moves and the man on the phone Peter told me they were busy on the day I needed them but his sister company Olympia removals could do it and he would co-ordinate between the two. From Olympia’s website you would expect a very professional experience from branded vans and workman. However in reality on the day of moving a group of men wearing either a different companies t-shirt (Apex removals) or no uniform turned up over an hour late in unbranded old vans. They were quick (bar frequent mobile phone calls) but one of the younger removal men kept dropping and banging our processions even dropping a box down the stairs!

The unloading was stressful, they didn’t put the boxes in the right rooms even though we have clearly written which room they needed to go into. Again the youngest removal man kept dropping and banging things. They also damaged a bed and fridge and we haven’t finished unpacking so dread to think potentially what other things have been broken. Then amongst this stressful situation Peter rang asking for payment. They hadn’t finished packing at all but I agreed and took the payment details over the phone to do a BACS transfer. Less than five minutes later and just as I was holding my phone to do the transfer one of the removals men said they had received a call and they were refusing to unload anymore due to lack of payment. I explained I had only spoken to the Peter less than five minutes ago and I was literally just doing the payment there and then. He shrugged his shoulders and said he just does what he is told. Only after ringing Peter and sending a screenshot of the transfer did work commence.
Seriously stressful situation all in all. From being late to the overly aggressive attitude around money I would not use them or EJ Removals again.

It was our first time to move houses in the UK, from Swindon to Nottingham. And expectedly, we were excited yet anxious. Upon online searching for trusted movers and packers in the UK, Olympia Removals & Storage came across as a highly rated contender. So, I left an enquiry at their website. The same evening, we received call from Bill asking for the details of the job and immediately thereafter, shared quote with us, which by the way, was the most reasonable one in the market. Since then, Bill has been regularly in touch with us until the job was complete. He's a star! And so are Mubarak Ali and Mohammad Malik who made the moving experience effortless for us. These guys are professional and handled our belongings with utmost care. Although we were worried about the impact of road travel on our belongings, we're pleased that everything turned out absolutely well, without any damages. The items were not only moved systematically, but were also placed in rooms upon moving. We can't recommend Olympia Removals & Storage enough for a hassle free moving job.

The removal people were really professional and helpful. They fit all our listed items in the van and also helped with additional items which we moved ourselves which were heavy.

Overall had a good experience with them and would definitely hire them again or recommend others to use them.

I used Olympia removals to move from one flat to another in Southampton. Everything was great, they moved all my furniture and my things for a very reasonable price. The movers on the day were so lovely and helpful. Also Bill was very nice on the phone, he always replied promptly, kept me updated and was very helpful with any questions I had. I would very highly recommend this company and am so grateful for such a smooth moving experience.

Had an amazing experience with the guys at Olympia!
My Moving day was a long drawn-out affair but nothing was to much trouble for the team, Bill in their office was very supportive and the team i had were fantastic.
Would highly recommend.
