Very quick turnaround

I had a PSA test recently with onedaytests, and the result was very different to previous tests I had, which was worrying. I asked if you could let me know the assay/methodology you use, and your lowest measurement point for your PSA test to help explain the reslt but have had no explanation for nearly 2 weeks now. I had a subsequent PSA test at another Lab and their result came back as expected and the same as previous ones, and different to the onedaytests result. I had a week of anxiety and stress because of the result I received from onedaytests, and have had no explanation or help since, even though I have chased and explained the urgency in the matter for me. I am surprised and very disappointed in the lack of support and awareness, especially when dealing with PSA results that can have significant and far reaching implications for those having the test.

I had an appointment for a blood test at the Brighton and Hove Centre. Dominica, a phlebotomist, took my blood. She was extremely professional and nice. I’ve had unpleasant experiences in the past with NHS staff at maternity centre who weren’t trained phlebotomists, so I decided to go to a private clinic this time. Thankfully, Dominica did a perfect job.
I’m very happy with their efficient service and the quick, same-day results.
I recommend everyone to make sure that only phlebotomists take your blood sample, otherwise, it might ruin your mental impression of what a blood test should be like.
