As an Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP) registered with Companies House and supervised by HMRC for anti-money laundering purposes, we are required to verify the identity of all directors and users before a filing can be submitted through our platform. Unfortunately, we are unable to bypass this verification process.
We appreciate that these steps can feel more involved, and your feedback on the ease of the facial recognition process is really helpful. We’re always looking for ways to make verification as simple and seamless as possible.
We can also confirm that your filing has since been submitted and successfully accepted by Companies House.

We have 4 directors so needed each of us to verify with our personal codes … in practice one director had to ring several times for this 11-digit code to be re-sent to her … so it would be good if there was a simpler system for these, as an email sent a year ago is not that helpful for everyone to use.

From 18 November 2025, identity verification became a legal requirement for UK company directors and People with Significant Control (PSCs) under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023. Bear in mind that this is a new verification requirement that did not exist a year ago.
Unfortunately our platform does not have access to your company's directors' personal codes, as this is issued by Companies House directly. Nonetheless, we will allways do our best in providing you the necessary guidance to locate this information, if necessary.

Generally quite easy to use. I liked the qr code that took me straight to where I needed. Too much repetition of information input though, once data like name, address etc is captured it should not be needed again
