I am always happy to be involved in Opinium surveys. Every survey gives me an exciting experience and I like discussing pressing issues concerning our day-to-day life, including politics, food products, cost of living, and others.

Opinium for my opinion.
I've been with Opinium for well over a decade. I've watched them change and grow and change again. Some changes for the better, some more complicated to handle. But I'm still with them.
Why 4 and not 5 stars?
Due to the "payout" system. Receiving money in your bank account used to be simple. Now, you have to register with some other company/handler. If you don't, you're stuck with "Prezzie" which is ok but not as useful as cash in the bank.
I understand that Opinium is more about sharing your opinion than earning money. Having said that, the "reimbursement" hasn't really changed since I joined. It would be nice if all surveys started at at least 50p, not 25p.
There used to be surveys with little perks like washing powder/cosmetics samples. Real products which you'd test and give feedback on. I haven't seen any of them for the past 10 years? Which is a shame.
Anyhow, under the bottom line, it's a fun activity which I will continue to do for as long as Opinium exists.

Plenty of surveys but not too many to overwhelm you. Surveys are straight forward and not too long. The rewards process is simple and you get your chosen reward quickly. Great way to share your options and get rewarded for your time.

Apparently if you follow the unsubscribe from emails link at the bottom of their emails, it terminates your entire account, and you lose your funds permanently. Ridiculous, considering they email you multiple times a day.

Recently, I have encountered issues with the surveys I receive in my email. Whenever I click on the link to start the survey, I am greeted with an error message stating "page not found." This problem has persisted for approximately two weeks, preventing me from completing any surveys during this time. I am hoping that the issue will be resolved as soon as possible so that I can continue participating in these surveys without any further disruptions.

Getting nervous been waiting about two weeks for money to be paid into my bank so far nothing,they are still asking me to do more surveys which I’m hesitant to do until I’ve been paid for the first one.

I have been doing these surveys for quite a few years and never had an issue. I emailed them to find out where my last voucher was and my account is now "deactivated by our automated system due to breaking the terms and conditions of the company". I have emailed several times now to ask what went wrong and when I can expect to receive the voucher I am owed and I am just being ignored.
Basically it has turned into a scam company that don't pay out - Very disappointing!

Opinium Research responded, stating that my account was under investigation and had been deactivated due to breaking their terms and conditions. However, they failed to provide a clear explanation of which terms and conditions I had allegedly broken.

*Security Reasons: No Further Explanation*

When I asked for further clarification, Opinium Research cited "security reasons" for not being able to provide more information. This lack of transparency has left me feeling frustrated and unsure about what happened.

*Inconsistent Account Status*

Despite being told that my account was deactivated, I can still log in to my account. This inconsistency raises serious questions about the status of my account and the reasons behind Opinium Research's actions.

*Unresponsive Support*

Throughout this ordeal, I've attempted to contact Opinium Research's support team, but they haven't provided a satisfactory explanation or resolution. It's disappointing to see a company that claims to value its panelists fail to provide adequate support.

*Conclusion*

My experience with Opinium Research has been disappointing, to say the least. The lack of transparency, inconsistent account status, and unresponsive support have left me feeling frustrated and unsure about the platform's reliability.

Have completed surveys for them for quite a few years.
The last 6 months they have basically stopped paying out on the vouchers despite promising to pay within 10 days. They refuse to reply to numerous emails and just fob you off.

Been a member for a few years and never had any issues. Surveys pay decently, there are surveys to so daily, so with consistent effort it doesn't take too long to get your reward. Very happy and definitely one of the best survey sites out there. Would recommend.

I have been a panellist for many years without any issues, however, I went to India for a holiday and clicked on a survey email invite whilst there. On my return they blocked my account even after I explained that I was on holiday. I used all the proceeds from Opinium to buy clothes for poor people in Rajasthan but even with this explanation they did not answer emails. I'm no longer a panellist and cannot criticise Opinium apart from this unfair closure of my account. I was a great survey site and I regret my mistake of clicking on the survey email.

Seriously avoid this outfit, either as panellist or user of services.

Firstly, as panellist. Right, they recently changed their 'rewards' process and no longer offer Amazon as a route. Instead we have a suite of high-street over-chargers. This happened WITHOUT any notice and effected all pre-existing rewards, effectively breaking the original agreement and terms between panellist and company. If you are disabled and/or live a long way from a city this change of removing home delivery options is serious. Contacting them failed to deliver an answer on this and I have now left 25 quid to the poorer.

Now as a panellist can I advise any potential and existing users of their 'opinion' surveys that their design and question structure is very poor, extremely naïve, and incapable of identifying anything but the coarsest public opinions.

As an example of this, while I have no wish to help such an inept outfit, can simple provide one example. During recent election sampling one questionnaire provided a list of issues to be ranked in importance for government priorities by the panellist. One of these was 'climate change'. See the issue? Well I might want to say this should be a priority because gov ought to spend MORE or because they need to stop destroying our economy. No way to reflect completely polarised views. Utterly naïve design.

This is not a unique example. Nearly every questionnaire suffers identical fundamental flaws.

I enjoy completing Opinium surveys as they are not only interesting but they are well designed and easy to complete with no IT issues especially for someone like me who is a bit of a luddite. Thank you.
