Time to reveal the demise of Opinium Research customer service. On 19/3/25 I redeemed a £25 voucher. This now goes through something called Prezzee. The voucher was never ordered, I complained and despite denials, OR offered to pay into my bank account. Despite scores of emails no payment has been made and OR now ignore me. Not paid for my time. AVOID.

I am writing to share my deeply frustrating experience with Opinium Research.I have been actively participating in their surveys for over three months.
Recently, I reached the redemption threshold and claimed a £25 bank transfer reward. I received the following confirmation:
"Congratulations! Thank you for claiming the following reward:
£25 bank transfer
Payments will be processed by our finance team and then processed to you. Vouchers will arrive via our voucher partner Prezzee - so look out for an email from them. Our terms are three working weeks, but should be shorter in practice. Bank transfers take 1 - 2 working days after being processed so please bear that in mind.

It has now been over three weeks since I claimed my reward, and I have yet to receive the £25 bank transfer. Despite this, I continued to receive numerous survey invitations from Opinium Research.
When I reached out to their support team to inquire about the delayed payment, I was shocked to discover that my account had been blocked without any prior notification or explanation. Furthermore, my inquiry has gone unanswered. It feels incredibly unfair and deceitful that my account was banned immediately after I raised a legitimate concern about my owed reward.
This is utterly unacceptable. After consistently contributing my time and effort to their surveys, to have my account summarily blocked and my rightful reward withheld is pure wickedness. I am left with no payment and no explanation.
I urge potential participants to be aware of this unethical practice. Opinium Research has failed to honour their terms and has unjustly banned my account for simply inquiring about a payment they confirmed.

I have been a member of Opinium surveys for many years. Having reached the payment threshold once again I claimed what was due. I received nothing. On contacting customer services I received a very breezy reply stating my account, 'was deactivated by our automated system due to breaking the terms and conditions of the company'. As this explains nothing I have sent several further emails requesting a more detailed explanation and have been totally ignored. I feel this is totally unprofessional and an extremely unpleasant way of treating someone who has been on their panel for years. In addition, if my account was deactivated why am I still receiving multiple surveys every day? Is it really assumed I will continue to participate for no payment?

i left my previous review a year ago, it was 4 stars, main issue was very slow to earn the reward, previous rewards were less slow to compare. i've earned three more rewards since then and my recent experiences are perfect, no other issues as always and earning speed improved and it's back to same expected level as before. thank you

Great choice of gifts for really interesting surveys

I love Opinium Research as I can give my opinions in exchange for a reward. The surveys are very varied and interesting and I would recommend anybody joining Opinium Research

There are always interesting surveys on various topics, and you never get screened out.
It does not take long to get the rewards and its good that you have the choice of cash or vouchers.

I have been a member of Opinium Surveys for a long time and have always enjoyed completing their surveys. When I reach my target to claim a reward it is very easy to do and they always pay out promptly within the timescale quoted.

I like the fact that the money I have earned goes in to my bank account instead of receiving vouchers for things I may not want. Then i can decide what I wish to buy. The surveys are not too long and easy to understand. The site is the best of its kind.

This is a cracker of a research website that pays you for just giving your opinion. The only thing they ask you is to be truthful. You can quickly build up your surveys and once you reach £25, you can cash out in a method of your choice. One of the best survey sites there are.
