Had right eye cataract removed early august, this went well thank you.
Then it all went wrong administration staff booking and cancelling left eye cataract removal, cancelling appointments last minute total shambles. And so due to the severity of my original sight I have been unable to leave the house since early august as I can’t see it’s now October 1st so 7 weeks. Can’t wear my old glasses anymore and still don’t have an appointment. They really don’t give a dam, It’s too cruel it really is, agism at its worst. Avoid I see you have replied my patient I’d is 3257865

Staff at newcastle/Gateshead branch were efficient, friendly and helpful. Bookings procedure not so efficient as I am still being contacted to do a pre op assessment for a (3rd ?) Cataract op.some joint approach by departments nreded.

There is not enough space here to explain what happened to me If you are really interested ( which I doubt). Then call me or give me an appointment to speak with someone Six weeks since my last operation and I’m still having issues with my eyes.

Excellent staff who were friendly informative and professional.

I highly recommend Optegra. From first contact (the same day the optician emailed my referral), through the assessment and two surgeries there was excellent communication. The clinic is relaxed and comfortable, all staff and medics efficient and helpful. Aftercare is equally impressive.

Aftercare
I was very well looked after at a second follow-up appointment. Five weeks after surgery I was experiencing problems with one eye in particular. Every member of staff was very kind and helpful. The clinician in particular took time to assess my eyes and give me a better understanding of the procedure and plenty of guidance and advice to help me to a much better outcome.
