Juggling multiple responsibilities is a challenge, but amidst the chaos, I found solace in nurturing living beings, from my furry four-legged companions to the dehydrated bumble bee that stumbled across my path. The realisation dawned upon me – if I could make a positive difference in the life of a tiny insect, then there was meaning and purpose to my own life. Opus Vita, although officially founded in 2023, traces its roots back to a transformative encounter in 2009. Whilst sunbathing in Florida on holiday, I locked many eyes with a big and beautiful adult female jumper. In that split second, my fascination was sparked. A quick photograph led me down a rabbit hole of research, and over the years, my passion grew into a full-fledged commitment. The essence of Opus Vita then took on a personal journey. During a challenging time, my first jumping spider became a tiny companion on my desk, helping me find focus as I re-entered work after being unwell. Witnessing her dedication in building a secure web around herself inspired the Opus Vita ethos. It's not just about breeding and e-commerce; it symbolises both commitment to the arachnid world and the pursuit of balance in our lives. We’re pleased to hear that the flies arrived safely and were viable on delivery, but we’re sorry to hear they died shortly afterwards.
It would have been helpful for us to know a little more about how they were stored and fed following delivery, as there are a few factors that can affect the longevity of live food. Unfortunately, as we haven’t received any contact from you regarding this, we haven’t had the opportunity to look into what may have happened, offer any advice, or try to rectify the issue for you.

Second time purchasing with Opus Vita, as usual, fantastic customer service, I got my partner the Loculus Coffin v3 (I think it was) and it is a fantastic enclosure, her little Florida Jumping Spider has settled in nicely, built a thick hammock at the top of the enclosure.

Bought my spider from OV stand at an invert show and she’s so lovely and healthy. Buy all her food from here too! I ordered a cheap enclosure when OV was sold out and my spider escaped! Luckily OV had enclosures in stock then so I could buy her a new one and I love and more importantly I haven’t seen her this happy! It’s a mansion to her but she’s enjoying it a lot. Love this shop for all my jumping spider supplies :)

I honestly can’t recommend them highly enough. From the quality and care that goes into their spiders to the products they provide, everything has been exceptional from start to finish. What has really stood out to me, though, is the support. They have been incredibly patient, knowledgeable and genuinely invested in both me and my spider’s wellbeing, always taking the time to answer questions and offer reassurance. It’s rare to find that level of customer care these days, and it’s made such a difference. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to get into the hobby or add to their collection. I absolutely LOVE Opus Vita and have no issues recommending them to anyone. My little jumpers that I got from them are so social and you can tell they were handled before I received them. The decor, enclosures…. Everything is so well made and I love the little details and knowing a lot of the decor is handmade makes it’s even more special.

As mould develops due to environmental conditions, this is typically related to enclosure humidity, ventilation, or moisture levels rather than the product itself.
We would recommend reviewing the conditions within the enclosure, particularly humidity and airflow, to help prevent mould growth. If you’d like to discuss your setup further, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our team and we’ll be happy to help.

An amazing breeder and amazing business!
I ordered a jumping spider and some enclosure decorations from Opusvita and I'm so happy with everything I ordered! The decor is beautiful and my baby jumping spider is healthy and so cute! I also want to thank them for having amazing communication, they answered all of my questions and were very careful with postage during the heatwave, ensuring I received her safe and well.
