Origin Global Reviews

I am really happy with the bifold doors from Origin. Very smooth mechanism and the installation team from Ekco were fantastic.

We've had our original sliding doors for almost 9 months and no issues so far. There were some initial problems with a leak but the hbd Systems installers worked out how that the screws needed sealing and that fixed the problem. Happy with our doors so far apart from a scratch in the glass at the top which hasn't been fixed.

A great product which was recommended to us by HBD Systems and our architect. We wanted the “crittall” look for our doors and windows but with all the modern security and energy efficiency. The team at HBD Systems in St Albans did a fantastic job sourcing and installing the Origin doors and windows.

I recently had the pleasure of working with HBD Systems for the installation of new doors and a roof lantern, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, the entire team was incredibly helpful and professional.

George provided excellent advice and guided us through the selection process with patience and expertise. His recommendations were spot-on, and we felt confident in our choices thanks to his thorough explanations.

The new doors and roof lantern have transformed our home, adding both beauty and functionality.

Overall, the experience with HBD Systems was outstanding. Every member of the team, from George to the installers, contributed to a seamless and stress-free process. I highly recommend HBD Systems for their exceptional service and quality products.

Quality products, looks amazing, this is our third house renovation, I wouldn’t use another company!
From start to finish everything ran smoothly 🤩

So pleased with our Origin doors and windows. They really look incredible and have given our home the wow factor we were looking for. We had external and internal doors. The internal steel look is just beautiful and has totally changed and updated the inside of our home with out needing to do major refurbishments.

We renovated our retirement house and chose Origin reassured by the 20 year guarantee. After 5 years one of the windows has blown, a part of the structure of the bay window is loose a rubber seal has fallen out of our bathroom window and the rubber seal on our bi-fold doors drags on the floor! Apparently the glass is not made by Origin so nothing to do with them (we sent a photo) and in an email to us they want £350 to come and look at our problems! We placed the order with Origin Stewart House Castle Estate Coronation Road Cressex Business Park High Wycombe which is very local to us! Origin arranged themselves (no third party) the making supply and fitting of all the windows and doors in our house including the glass. We supplied the order no to Origin but despite the guarantee are not interested in addressing any of the issues….even the non related glass issues which they organised themselves!

Saw several potential providers of bifold doors and had several quotes. After careful research and recommendations we visited HBD Systems in St Albans to see check we had shortlisted the right suppliers. From the moment we went in we greeted by a professional sales assistant, who knew his stuff and listened carefully to what we wanted to achieve. We opted for Origin Bi folds as they looked great and had a solid reputation for reliable quality. The order process and payment options were easy, and the scheduling for delivery and installation went ahead of initial plan (which was great). The bi folds were installed in 1 day, there was no mess and no need for redecorating, the installers were polite and friendly and did a great job (thank you HBD Systems). Love the bi folds and would highly recommend Origin and HBD for all you door needs.

Sean and Ryan were absolutely brilliant, on time, friendly and efficient they went above and beyond to make sure that our bi fold doors were as good as new. Highly recommend. Thank you so much exceptional service.

We were considering the replacement of some old aluminium sliding patio doors which no longer seemed to prevent draughts or heat loss but were reluctant to consider changing to UPVC because our house dates from the 1920’s and has old metal windows. We visited BJB Windows near Guildford in Surrey and were very glad we did. The staff there were excellent and gave us all the information we needed and explained the benefits and qualities of Origin products - which we had never heard of before. The quality is outstanding, they are very solid and smooth in operation, and look great too. Thank you Origin and BJB. We would recommend you both without hesitation.

We were recommended Origin Windows and Doors by our architect for our new build SIP home in South London. We used HBD systems in St Alban’s as the company to source all our windows, doors and sliding doors through. HBD have been involved in our project for the last two years and have been outstanding throughout this time.
Our first meeting was with at their showroom in St Albans. We were really impressed with the Origin products on offer and the knowledge of the sales team regarding Origin. We have a lot of glass and sliding doors in the property so we needed a cost effective product that didn’t blow the budget. We opted for Origin Windows, doors & Sliding Doors throughout and we have been very happy with the product, a great qualtiy product that will last a long time.

As with any project of this size there was a couple of small issues that required resolving after the main fitting. Origin was very prompt to send a team round to take care of it. We found that they really do care about their after sales customer service and support. We really felt that they had our best interest at heart, and only signed the project off when we were 110% happy with every single window and door.
I wouldn’t have any hesitation in recommending any Origin product to future customers.

Decent enough product but terrible customer service and communication and consistently lying re. delayed delivery which it turns out, is the norm, so don’t trust any scheduling they give you.

We have been using Origin for many years, however we required assistance recently on an installation. Ryan and Sean were extremely professional and helpful and explained everything to us in great detail.

We bought Origin french doors through HBD Systems. The doors are excellent and HBDs service and fitting was exemplary. Both highly recommended

We have used Origin in the past for our original bi-fold doors & double front door. The quality and design gave us the re-assurance to use them for our new extension window & bi-fold doors again. The installers HBD Systems were very good although their communication could be improved as they were slow to inform me of a re-schedule install date. We did have an issue with marks on all three glass panels for the doors but this was resolved quickly without fuss. My only negative comment would be that the gaskets used around the bi-fold doors seem to damage very easily, these should be made a little tougher.

Everyone that sees our Origin 01-30 Internal Door likes them. Also shout out to HBD Systems St Albans sales and fitting.

Ryan Scott came out after one of our hinges broke. We contacted where we purchased the bifolds and after a while they arranged the replacement. Ryan was very thorough and noticed some other issues that we were not aware off. Ryan has submitted a report and we hope to have the other issues sorted soon.

We can't even begin to describe just how much Origin's beautiful aluminium products have transformed the look of our home.
First and foremost, the quality of the product is outstanding. The bifold doors and windows operate smoothly and effortlessly, whilst also looking fantastic aesthetically. The positive comments from neighbours and visitors only confirm our thoughts that we could not have picked a better option.
Cannot recommend highly enough.

New origin bifold door supplied and fitted by Dalziel Home Improvements.
Great quality door and excellent workmanship.

We've had our Origin bifolding doors for about 10 years now and absolutely LOVE them - and the people who work there.

We were particularly attracted to Origin's bifolding doors, because they're designed to be completely safe for not trapping kids' fingers in them.

The original installation was done by fitters who didn't know the correct way to install them and it caused lots of issues. (The fitter we were going to use went bust and we had to find someone else quickly).

Right from my very first communication with Billy at Origin, where I explained our problems, Origin's own team of expert fitters came and did an amazing job of resolving all of the numerous issues caused by the original fitters.

A few years on, our then-new extension that the doors are fitted in, had settled/moved and, as a result, the doors needed adjustment. Like the previous Origin team, Tommy and Chris have just been and done an amazing job of getting everything running smoothly again, in just one short visit.

The customer care I've had from Billy, every time I've been in communication with him, has been exceptional. Their fitters are superb and everyone I've ever spoken to at their HQ have also been fantastic.

At some point in the next few years, we'll probably move home and will definitely have Origin doors again in our next house if they're not already fitted, on account of their safety, aesthetics, smooth running and customer service.

Huge thanks to everyone there! Billy especially, thanks a million for always reallly looking after us, which we really do appreciate.
