Nur kurz die Kreditkarte abholen, soviel zur Theorie.
Die Damen am Schalter waren alle tatsächlich beschäftigt.
Daher haben ich nach 15 Minuten einen Bankmitarbeiter hinter einem Schreibtisch gefragt, ob er so höflich sei mir kurz zu helfen, Da er offensichtlich nichts zu tun hatte.
Er verwies mich an die Damen, wieso auch Service bieten…. Rumsitzen macht mehr Spaß

Experienta noastra cu OTP bank, Cluj a fost una extrem de dezamagitoare. Pesonalul bancii total dezinteresat, lent, neimplicat. Vibe-ul a fost dezolant inca de la intrarea in sediu. Personalul se uita la tine iritat, ca la un musafir nepoftit care deranjeaza pe langa faptul ca mormaie in limba maghiara si nu intelegi daca e despre tine sau nu. Aici am dat de amatori, nu de profesionisti.. oameni care sunt prezenti cu trupul si care par a fi obligati de parinti ca sa se aduca la munca pe ei. Filosofia de munca pare a fi una gresita. Salvarea acestei sucursale este doamna Director care ii tine pe acesti oameni in spate si experienta cu ea a fost de calibrul unei banci profesioniste si implicate. Sper ca odata cu achizitia BTului sa se schimbe mentalitatea si atitudinea oamenilor de acolo. Nu recomand sub nici o forma Otp.

fiók bezárására irányuló kérelmet küldtem Önnek, amelyet 2024. április 4-én kapott. Lezártad a számlát, de még mindig nem kaptam semmit. Nem tudok Budapestre utazni. Már kétszer benyújtottam a kérésemet, de még mindig semmi, még egy levél sem. A kommunista időkben is dolgoztál, mert nagyon hanyag és makacs vagy, nem szeretsz dolgozni és a vevőt kielégíteni. Mellékelek egy példányt, amit az aláírásom hitelesítésével küldtem el. Ha nem kapom vissza a pénzemet, köteles leszek panaszt tenni a magyar hatóságoknál. nem köszöntelek. This bank is a joke, usually I have to wait 34-60 min to pay by cash my rent, today I paid 1800HUF extra for “ cash payment fee”. This is a shame , to charge extra fee for this s*** service.

Vorsicht!!!

Mein Vater ist verstorben und es gelingt uns nicht das Konto zu sperren. Sie zahlen das Geld auch nicht aus, owohl wir die ersuchten Dokumente eingereicht haben - auch die EU Form. Jedes Mal erfinden sie neue Ausreden. Weiters verweigert mir die Mitarbeiterin die Ausgabe d. Kontoauszüge! Sie spielen auf Zeit und Kosten! Ich kann jeden nur abraten bei dieser Bank va als Ausländer ein Konto zu eröffnen!! VORSICHT! Die Mitarbeiterin spricht nur Ungarisch, keine einzige Fremdsprache, ist sehr unüblich in einer Bank - und verzieht die Miene wenn man danach fragt. Ich habe selbst ungarische Wurzeln - und spreche die Sprache etwas. Kann Ausländer von der Bank abraten - erinnert an die kommunistische Zeit! PFUI!

I am German, but live permanently in Hungary. When my previous Hungarian bank went bankrupt, I ended up with OTP Bank. I opened a checking account there. It actually went normally, as only payments were received and ongoing costs were debited via direct debit.

But now suddenly there is a problem. VISA / debit cards have been issued by OTP Bank for years. This also works for purchases in stores. I am already aware of the difference between debit and credit cards. My account always has more than sufficient funds. Recently I wanted to pay for a flight online with this card. Although the credit/debit card option is offered, payment does not work. At the bank branch I was told that the card was fine. The error would lie with me, with my two computers or with the internet connection. Since this can be ruled out, I contacted the airline. Lo and behold, I was informed that some of the OTP servers are constantly unavailable and that this is why online bookings are canceled. I wrote an email to the OPT headquarters. They obviously don't think it's worth the effort to answer me. I went back to the branch with the answer from the airline. The lady there promises to fix it the same day. Nothing happens. There are probably only incompetent and lazy people in the specialist departments at headquarters who are not interested in solving the problem. In the 21st century, as a customer of OTP Bank, I cannot pay for my Internet purchase online. To those in charge at the executive level: when will you finally notice that the Stone Age is over.
The consequence is that I switch to another bank because I can't rely on such inferior service. If you want to save yourself trouble as a bank customer, don't go to the OTP bank in Hungary.

Today I took the liberty of inquiring about the current status at the OTP branch in Barcs. An English-speaking employee told me briefly and with an unfriendly, snappy tone that the younger employee who was working on the case was sick. I "have to" wait for her to come back to work. After that she left and just left me there. I told her that the only thing I “have to do” is to change this bank. I have never experienced such boorish behavior towards customers. The problem with changing banks are the fees that arise for cash withdrawals (1.2%) and transfers (0.5%). In addition, “account switching service” is not known. All direct debits and standing orders must be created again.

Don't use the bank!! I had huge trouble of closing my private account there.....

oldie but goodie, except in deviseloans and devisemortgages

After 5 years with the bank with zero benefits my account got hacked. It was very clear that was the case but they refused to refund me. They were lazy with their investigation and difficult to communicate with in person and over the phone. They do not protect nor care about they clients.

Ne gyere ide . Csak lenyúlják a pénzed mindent kétszer fizettetnek ki veled és amikor szólsz még meg is magyarázzák.
Nem tudom hova menj de ne IDE .

Unprofessional staff, no-one speaks English, always problems never solutions

The old fashioned bank where you need to visit the bank office in order to do something. Email or phone support just don't work - no one answers. The app is useless: there is a way to view transactions/balance, schedule an appointment in the bank office and that's pretty it. Bank works somehow, but don't expect too much from it.
