Beware this Company

So I don't usually go out of my way for this but it appears they have no desire to right this wrong at all so I will leave this here for anyone who's looking at this company for a potential opportunity.

Recently I interviewed for this company for a content moderator manager role. Nothing crazy, they gave out a test with some basic tasks to fill out. No biggy.

I spent two days on the task which was admittedly far more than required to complete and overkill but since I wanted to be diligent with them. I did that.

Soon after submission I got this response

"Hi x,

Thanks for writing.

We reviewed other assignments and decided to proceed with other candidates.

Your assignment was heavily AI-generated and a missing part is in the third task.

Thank you again for the time and effort you put into the task.

The fun part. I had used chatgpt to correct two sentences for grammar and phrasing out of a much larger task, so the accusations of heavily ai generated caught me off guard and were honestly, deeply insulting. I don't know why or how that can be flagged but nothing stated we couldn't use something equivalent to Grammarly for support. ( I suffer from dyslexia)

I responded explaining this and asked for evidence of this, and to point out what elements are generated so I can find out what was going on and so far it has been met with silence.

It is an absolutely insane thing for a role that is about customer service and treating users with respect to go out of your way to accuse people of trying to join your company as AI generated. It's now more frustrating that if I apply for any future roles anywhere that I have to purposely not try my best in case it gets flagged.

(Task 3 being incomplete was entirely inconsequential as it was just a small side note forgotten to be included)

So for anyone applying for this in future. Keep note to dumb down your efforts and don't try your best.

They finally gave me a response after some nagging for an answer. They explained they ran my work through an ai detector tool. I did the same and got a completely different result.

After researching the tool in question I had used there is wild conjecture on its validity. If you can remotely write professional than it will flag you as AI. I had to write professionally for my academic years and any front facing services and usually only do so when I have too. Responses like this make it clear now that you cannot do that anymore. It is better to write colloquially and obtusely so AI doesn't flag you and companies won't make uninformed decisions.

My suggestion is to fact check the tools you're using and paying for before making such unfounded accusations.

Platform takes too many resources from someone with a low end pc. Unusable.

I love this app for recording my games! It’s so good and incredibly easy to use. I had an issue a few days ago, and the support team was absolutely amazing — they helped me quickly and solved the problem right away. Great app and fantastic support! Highly recommended.

its just a ad farm disguised as tools to help, most are useless and reduce performance while running ads 24/7

It's a malware.
After you install the manager, it also downloads a piece of software that installs itself on raid 0 and cannot be deleted without reinstalling firmware on the motherboard. This is done so that it can monitor content on your PC even after Overwolf is uninstalled. Probably monitors installed mods too.

I love it!!! it has a page for Game Maps what helped me a lot a very lot!!! Overwolf has many other very helpful functions, i love it! the Baldurs Gate 3 Maps for example are very very helpful to navigate! its a all-in-one Map for all 3 Acts and i saved lots of googling with this, thank you Overwolf!!! ^^

Die Anwendungen sind gut, aber während dem Spiel ein pop up Fenster zum Download einer neuen Software zu öffnen ist eine Frechheit, vorallem wenn es das geöffnete Spiel crashed.

Everyone knows that you're nothing but Malware and Spyware. first of all, it wants me to record whenever i join a game, making me mad because this is just %100 sketchy. When i found out more about it, i deleted it but was immediately spammed with ads never using this again. Israel = trash.

Very responsive and helpful customer service, the software itself is also very user friendly and FOC!!

extremely horrible and terrible to manage. Downloaded it bc my friends wanted to mod lethal company and for some reason it downloaded some stupid overlay feature that shows pc info CPU,GPU, ETC. However it constantly spams you with advertising and when I tried to delete it, it gave me an error code. Basically saying your stuck with this crappy app. Had to delete the file instead.

Useful and fun mods

Overwolf is pretty good for thunder store & curse forge so Yeah it's useful for some apps

Honestly makes modding super simple and actually fun.

It records and saves videos well, the only downside is that the videos randomly disappear and I can only access them through the file search, and some videos have no audio.

Super easy game mods and CC install.
The mods and cc are easy to update and uninstall if needed. It is a must for me, with Sims 4 and WOW.
Love it.

Easy to use, doesn't mess with my gameplay and offers a ton of things that can be added to make my gameplay fun!

I love the fact that you can add mods to minecraft without worrying about the right version and compatibility
