These guys are awful
These guys are awful. They are not helpful, they do not help fix issues. I have been a tenant with this agency for 2 years, any problems they request to log in the portal, and then they just close the ticket withouit notice. Anytime I ring up for answers it is always a rude person who doesn't want to hear the issue or help. Consistently not providing the service to tenants as they are required to do. I do not have good experience dealing with this agency.

Abuse agent
Don't rent a property from this agent at all if you don't want to lose your deposit, they're trying to find a way to scam you, about 3 years I was tenant of them, every year increases rent when you arrange a viewing they turn off their crazy lift and tell viewers lift doesn't work and tenant knows issue of the lift when he rented a property so nothing can do about very slow lift if you use stairs can reach sooner to upper floor than lift, at the end of tenancy we cleaned property well but they're checking every centimeter of flat to find something to blame you and reduce your deposit they charged me £10 for 1 light bulb, £200 for mattress and £120 for cleaning as they said needed to clean more about 2 hours! Mattress wasn't new at the start of tenancy but after 3 years we used because of some stains they charged me £200 to buy a new one! Regarding leak from ceiling my laptop damaged and they didn't take responsibility because they're just thinking about theirselves my advice is don't rent a property from Oyster properties if you do you will lose your deposit as they're find a way to blame you because they're really hungry besides there is an Indian takeaway next Woodfield Court and you smell oil and food all the time with noise so be careful and don't trust them at all!

Highly unprofessional non existent customer service. One person who hasn’t a clue answers all calls . Lady at the viewing was so detached and in a hurry .
Now refusing to return deposit and not responding to messages.

Last yr they managed to get me a rent increase. They have looked after my flat for a while. During lockdown it was completely full, I’ve had no voids in over 6 yrs. what oyster do is brilliant marketing & they do so in good enough time, prospective tenants are properly referenced so I’ve never had a problem not even late rent,
They manage the flat brilliantly, they provide access to 3rd parties meaning I can get on with other work,
As a result of their brilliant management & my increased cash flow which is consistent & timely I’ve been able to leverage the rental income to buy another property with Oyster assisting me & providing access for surveys etc.

A terrible experience. They do a great job "selling themselves" but a terrible job selling my late mother's flat. Horrible communication, lack of proactivity, lack of control, unprofessional and wasted everyone's time & money. Avoid.

Following up on previous review
Following up on previous review, I have been pressured into taking a lower amount of deposit back almost 30% reduction as I was told pretty much take it or lose it and even when we agreed an amount they didn’t even give it all. I’ve requested the rest of the amount 48 hours ago and still no reply. DO NOT TRUST them they are liars and thieves!!

Completely changed my view of estate agents
Incredible service all round when I was selling my flat. Extremely professional and friendly, responsive and honest. Kept me informed throughout the whole process and assured me whenever I started getting a bit nervous. Irina was hugely knowledgeable about my block as well as the area, and knew things before I raised them with her and solutions ready to hand. She worked with me to deal with awful managing agents and issues arising, and dealt with all parties so well. Their ASAP conveyancing sales progressors who they partner with were also amazing and everyone helped me seamlessly through a few hiccoughs with my onward purchase chain as well as my sale which I appreciate massively as this process is so stressful. Can't thank the whole team enough esp. Irina and Dean who clearly went above and beyond and would definitely recommend them to everyone dealing with a purchase or sale. I've had the pleasure (cough?!?!) of dealing with several estate agents in North West London and Oyster are a league above.

If I could leave 0 start review I would, I was a tenant for 2 years when I was inquiring to let a property I was told rent doesn’t increase much. After being there for 2 years landlord tried increasing rent from 1750 - 2400 absolutely disgusting. 🤢 not only that but the first 3 weeks of moving in we had not got water or heating no apologies or compensation provided. I have now moved out over a month ago and trying to get my deposit back I have provided evidence of the property condition when we moved in but they are insisting I pay over £800 in damages which is due to landlord negligence. Do not trust what oyster properties say to you it’s all lies.

The whole team were absolutely excellent. The photos of and promotional material for the flat were excellent and Oyster properties ensured those who were viewing were genuinely interested (unlike one of the high street estate agents I tried.) Irina was outstanding. She had such a depth of knowledge that demonstrated her expertise and experience. She did an excellent job. She was excellent with the potential buyer, highlighting all the best features of my property. Throughout the process she remained supportive right up until completion (and after actually.) I would very happily recommend Irina and the whole team and will certainly use them in the future!

Unsatisfactory experience & Discrimination
Unsatisfactory experience and what I can only assume is some sort of discrimination that they obviously will not disclose the real reason why we are unable to view the property. We called BEFORE they had the viewing date for a property and was told they would contact us once they had one, which is understandable as the ad had just gone up an hr or so prior to this. You would then think we should of been amongst, if not the first to be contacted. We then follow their booking procedure (via WhatsApp) the following day and was first told we could book a viewing and after giving further details was told, literally 1 min after, its fully booked. I wouldn't mind if they told me the real reason why e.g. if we did not meet requirements or etc but to just be lied to and magically all the slots are booked after being told 1 min before they were not is unacceptable.

Excellent Service by Oyster Properties
We use Oyster Properties to let our rental properties and they are absolutely Fantastic! . We are portfolio landlord in northwest london and Oyster rents out our portfolio within a couple of days so our property never stays empty.
