Yesterday got notification from RM that item would be delivered today between 0950 and 1150. Once time slot had been and gone, went onto Tracking and discovered it had been updated to state "Returned to Sender" due to exceeding 18 days at depot. Item was only dispatched on Friday! Obviously postman/woman mistakenly scanned. Then had the annoyance of contacting sender to say parcel on way back to them as RM have stuffed up. Now they have had to send out a replacement for original item. It is urgently required as BT broadband equipment. Just hoping don't get another moron dealing with second one. Furious don't come near........

Three times this month they have left a parcel on my doorstep in full view of passersby. I have complained each time and have been told very sorry etc and will investigate. Worst company, at least Evri hide parcels in the bin.

Quite possibly the most incompetant company in existiance. They literally have one job and the only consistent thing about them is ironically how they fail to deliver.

Ordered plumbing parts from Screwfix on Thursday 30th July paid £5.00 for next day delivery now Saturday August 1st and still not arrived apparently according to Tracking details they are still in a warehouse in Manchester waiting to be despatched what a joke this service is Screwfix should stop using this useless service. i will be contacting Screwfix for a refund of my £5,00

According to the Mail, a package containing two dressed lobsters was left in my designated safe place, which was my unlocked front porch. They lied. Nor was it left in a supposed safe place they invented, a non-existent outbuilding. It was abandoned just inside my open front gates. I am ninety-three and live alone. I walk with difficulty, using a stick. Unable to carry the package with one hand, I had to push it, laboriously, up my front drive, inches at a time.

If I could give zero stars I would. Postman collected two items on the same day but got the labels the wrong way round. I have complained and tried to get compensation multiple times but have been told it was my fault for having two items collected at the same time.

If a seller on Vinted offers royal mail , choose anything other. Tracked 48 in my experience means at least 72, and sometimes never. There is no-one to contact, they dont care anyway and you are left chasing your package around the country.

The only way to improve this is to use alternatives - once it hits the fat cats in the pocket something might change.

Until then avoid.

Evri and inPost, even Relay is a better option.

Pleb agency worker didnt put customs label on the parcel on collection so my parcel has been stuck in a delivery office for 2 weeks and I have to pay £4.00 to get returned to me. The £13 postage and £50 customs fee hasnt been refunded... All this after the classic "no-one was in" bull on the first "collection".

Royal Mail, Royal Fail. The King should get them to remove Royal, they are pathetic.

Absolute joke. Had no post for weeks. Went to the sorting office and asked for my post. They handed me a bundle of letters, including an important one from hospital.

Third delivery attempt, courier never turned up, lied about "no answer", but door and street camera shows they did not turn up in the street or outside my door, both camera has been on 24hr recording, regarded as the worst company for delivery, i sell 100s of item and use to have them collect and deliver, now they have lost me as a customer, they are now a sham company since sold to a czech Daniel Křetínský’s.

For a company that everybody that lives in britain that can post a letter or a parcel will use. Your service is next to none. With the name royal in it you anger me with disgust YET AGAIN ANOTHER NO SHOW. But don't worry the corrupt champagne sipping sewer rats called the directors need the money.

Missed delivery, no reason why ! poor communication, if I could give zero I would.

my parcel was sent to tyneside mc , i live in york ,100miles away they sent me a message that my parcel would be delivered that day but of course this never happened. Still waiting to see what happens next, when i was a lad they were the pride of britain what went so very wrong .

Waited in for my parcel id been waiting afew days for and NO got a message to say tried to deliver but couldn’t!!!!!! So I looked back on my cctv and the Royal Mail van went up and down the street NEVER attempted to deliver

I’d give zero stars if I could. What’s happened to this company? Once an amazing service. You are given a 4 hour timeslot, which is NEVER met. Recently I’ve waited in all day for a parcel and it’s come the day after. Earlier this week, we had a slot of 3.45-7.45pm, so went out for lunch and the parcel came at 2.20pm whilst we were out! Today’s parcel; I was given a time slot of 08.50am-12.50pm and have just had an update to say it’s now 10.05am-7.30pm! Given it’s a Saturday, we are thrilled to be held to ransom over a delivery! Completely unacceptable, take a tip from Amazon deliveries. If they can get it right, so can RM.

Disgusting! Between no mail deliveries for months .. missed hospital appointments - Christmas presents going “ missing” the orders of food for my ASD son never arriving. It’s an absolute disgrace! Currently sitting waiting on yet another delivery which has been sat at the Yorkshire parcel hub .. been sat there since Tuesday which again contains my sons food for the month. The company needs to be investigated, because it’s become the most unreliable, despicable company going.

A delivery slot was arranged for today between 11.50 and 2.50
When nothing had arrived by 3.30 I went online to track my parcel, only to find a message stating that a delivery was attempted, but nobody was in, and a card was left. There was no attempt to deliver or a card left if this attempt. This is just another example of the incompetence of royal mail

Royal Mail Parcel Force Worldwide are an absolutely useless and incompetent delivery service, I've had so many notifications over the last couple of years showing tracking information and delivery slots only to be updated after their intended delivery/time to be informed:
"Sorry, we were unable to deliver your parcel today, xxxxxx, xx xxxx xxxx.

We’ll attempt to deliver it the next working day.

We’re sorry for any inconvenience."

Actually Royal Mail it is an inconvenience because I've paid for a service that I'm not receiving.

The company should be disbanded altogether.

Stayed in for the parcel to be delivered between 11and 2 only to be notified at 1.10 that it may be delivered today up to 7.30 absolutely rubbish delivery service don’t know how this company survive!! would rather use any other delivery service, Royal Mail are a joke

Royal mail are seriously failing sellers and buyers. I have, over the last few weeks bought 4 items, for delivery by various companys, ebay, reputable brand companys, all using royal mail. ALL of the deliveries arrived late, excuses, saying i wasnt in when i was and tracking not being updated. Im presently waiting, again for a parcel from ebay, all royal mails fault, not ebay or seller! I hope ofcom investigate royal mail, as they said they would! Their service is disgraceful
