Parchment has terrible customer service! I am unable to merge accounts due to issues with their website, and I have been waiting for assistance for a month. I still have not received my diploma, and I have been waiting for two months. The customer service representatives keep asking the same questions, do not address all of my concerns, and never resolve my issues. Schools need to stop using Parchment, please!!

Customer service was extremely friendly but incredibly under equipped to handle basic administrative tasks regarding accounts. I was unable to merge 2 Parchment accounts and they ended up just deleting both accounts, which sucked because I had a diploma linked to one of those accounts. Now, the diploma exists linked to no account and Parchment refuses to simply relink the diploma to my new Parchment account, citing FERPA laws, which feels disingenuous and inaccurate since I am the student in question requesting my own diploma to be linked to my new Parchment account.

I have email records going as far back as a month over this one issue, and when customer support finally just admitted that they couldn't do anything, they just closed my ticket on me.

This is after they deleted BOTH of my Parchment accounts and then put the responsibility on me when I kept explaining that their account merge process is BROKEN.

I would give 0 stars if possible. Parchment Support was extremely unhelpful. Parchment's policy regarding expired document links, and its complete unwillingness to provide an updated link to customers who were unable to obtain the document they paid for, is simply bad business.

If a customer pays for a product and does not receive it, regardless of whether the download link has expired, Parchment should have the integrity to make the situation right by ensuring the customer receives the product that was purchased.

Instead, Parchment showed no compassion for a paying customer who never received the document that was paid for. Rather than resolving the issue, the company required me to purchase the same document a second time. This gives the impression that generating additional revenue takes priority over correcting a situation where a customer did not receive the original product.

I have never experienced customer service that was this inconsiderate. There was no genuine effort to understand the circumstances, no willingness to do the right thing, and no meaningful attempt to help after the situation had been fully explained. It was extremely disappointing and discouraging to encounter a company that, in my experience, placed its policy and additional payment above treating a customer fairly.

trash, if there is a hold from your school, they do literally nothing to help you and you have to wait 10 years for an email you will never get

I tried to get my high school transcripts because their website said that they could have it sent to me in a few days. Especially after talking to that bot over the weekend. So I called on that Monday and the lady said that they don't do high school transcripts only secondary and that's if the school was closed so I told her that her website says you can get them in a few days FALS ADVERTISEMENT

This company is nothing more than scammers. They have you fill out all the paperwork and ask for credit card information and you never receive the requested file information and then they ask you to just reapply and pay them another $12. I would not go through this company whatsoever in any school like Elk Grove High School in Illinois that has done business with them is also just as much a scammer as this company

Website impossible to use, full of bugs, pages reload on their own while you are entering information. Took 30 minutes to order my transcript. Trash company.

I don't know what they are charging schools to send out diplomas, but I had three different ones mailed and all three came bent. This is my master's degree; it is supposed to be a professional document that I can have hanging in my office for the duration of my career. They don't bother to send them in any kind of up-charged "Fragile" USPS envelopes (that would eat into their millions in profits). Instead, they send them in the cheapest possible envelopes with the flimsiest cardboard inside and print "Please Do Not Bend" on the outside. The USPS has no legal obligation to follow this instruction, nor are the drivers trained to look for arbitrary and meaningless print like that.

AWFULLLLL!!! Ordered my transcript more than a month before it sent, and it only sent because I called my institution 1001 times to get it sent. No way to contact them--only an AI chatbot. Received their number through my community college and was on an automated hold for 30+ min. TWICE. Absolutely hate that institutions use this.

terrible customer service wait time, ended up hanging up after about an hour wait, page did not take payment the first time, (gave me an error), so I did the transaction again, only to find that they billed me both times, trying to fix the issue w customer service, neither online nor phone is progressing, frustrating

I sent my college credits to my university a month ago and had to pay $12, yet my university never received them. In order to get my college credits transferred I will have to repay because parchment was not able to send them the first time. It is a major scam and would not recommend.

Website does not work on computer or mobile. Does not load on computer and refreshes for no reason on mobile, rendering it useless

why do schools use an institution that is garbage, corrupt, and has no contact info. They must my crappy too. Do what you can to avoid this company. They hire mensches, but not many, b/c no one is available.

This is mainly about their employees. They are lazy and incompetent. Verifying my education has been my last obstacle on a background check for my new job and I finally decided to contact them myself. It was obvious a simple task was too taxing on them. Just bad.

10 days of waiting of my transcripts so far, (electronic delivery to myself) they told me they can’t do anything and I must reach out to my college. I reached out to my college, they told me to reach out to Parchment for help. Basically no one can help me and my money is gone and my time is wasted :)

My college says they usually process in 1 hour.

Must be a scam!!! They took my money, did not deliver a transcript & there is no way to get a refund. I opened a case via chat & was told someone would contact me. No one has contacted me. The chat bots are useless. Very frustrating!!!!

From a previous review: Even though I have received my two official transcripts, I will say that trying to communicate with them via a phone call, it is impossible.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. I ordered my transcripts TWICE electronically and have not received either one. The lady told me to order again!!! I have put in a THIRD complaint to them as instead of helping me she sent me the survey for my order. Their customer service is awful.

I had the worst experience ever. They entered my date of birth incorrectly and sent me documents containing incorrect information. When I contacted them to have their mistake corrected, they told me I would have to pay again to fix it.

To make matters worse, they refused to refund my money, even though the error was on their end. I am extremely disappointed with the service and the lack of accountability.
