We've just cancelled with Parent Shield after a really successful experience. Like many patents, we worries about giving our daughter access to a phone ad being able to monitor her texts and calls has helped us ease her into responsible phone use. She's now ready for a more standard contract and the live chat allowed us to cancel with no drama and great customer service. We will be back when our youngest is ready to explore phone use!

From the get go, the service has been excellent. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the system itself is brilliant. See who your kids are calling and messaging, as well as what they are saying. Filters, Key Words, whitelist and blacklist numbers... All excellent, and for a really good price too. With the SIM and the app, we've been able to teach our daughter about safety in communicating online, and over the years we've had this service, she has learned how to use her phone safely. Highly, hugely recommended for anyone that is worried about their child and their first mobile phone.

I had parent shield sim for my daughter it was great she was always able to call and txt. there was always reception. I also could see who she called and txt. really good for 1st phone for young tweens. As well as this, It is good value and better than any contract

It is hard to find fault with Parent Shield, the customer services is prompt, friendly and knowledgable. We've used for our kids' first phones and having a bit of control when you need it is so reassuring. The website has all the information you need and the portal is simple and easy to use. We have been with ParentShield for around 4 months now and the features are insanely good, my wife and I love the peace of mind that we get.

The product itself is fabulous. I was anxious about getting my 11 year old son his first phone, but the portal has all the features a parent needs to be confident that their child is safe. However, the customer service is the icing on the cake. My query was answered quickly and efficiently by a real person, with a follow up email providing all the contact details, including a phone number (above rarity these days for most companies) that I could possibly need. I would highly recommend this company.

A peace of mind solution. I came across this as a parent first time trying to get my daughter a SIM card for a ‘dump’ phone. Easy to buy and easy to setup.

My 11 year olds first phone (Nokia 110) I feel they are safer because of the features parent shield sim provides. It's peace of mind as a parent to let them have some independence but in a safe way. To be able to turn features on/off, & allow only saved contacts. The customer services is really good, I've had 2 queries answered within minutes. And one inquiry was through email at 11pm, that I got a response to nearly immediately. Highly recommend.

Once I had signed up within a few minutes a northern chap called me from Derby to explain next steps, to be fair, I have a web developer friend I know who lives in Burnley, so I was about to take the piss out of him, but it wasn't the same phone number, so I'm glad I didn't rib him. lol - First time round, the Sim didn't work as the IPhone 11 I had bought, didn't work, so we had a bit of back and forth. But every time I called to ask for help, I got to speak to a real human being. Not AI, well, not as far as I was aware.

Their team are amazing and they have a huge amount of patience and expertise. So, sign up.

I've been having issues with family members on social media over the past year, and having them join WhatsApp groups and not knowing what they were looking at, has been hard for messages and calls.

This is a game changer, and very much needed for every parent out there who wants to protect their family from predators online, and having their phone numbers etc with the portal you get access to is even better for policing. You can also upgrade for more minutes and texts to give your family better access.

This is a fantastic company that held child safety at the very core, but also make the process of buying mobile devices and SIMs/plans extremely easy. The customer care is exemplary (we lost a SIM and a replacement was in the post within the day). They provide sensible and straightforward advice and the website is easy to navigate. Well done to the whole team, and thank you for keeping our children safe.

A brilliant product and service that I will continue to recommend to others. Paul and the team were always available to resolve any questions I had whilst setting up( I’m not tech savvy!) so made the whole process stress free. We tried installing Google Family Link, my kid found ways and means and was still careless who she gave her number to. It was awful and sometimes scary... We had to change her phone number in the end after she gave her number to some older girls who then proceeded to bully her relentlessly for weeks and taunt her text message after text message.

Seriously, this could have been worse for us, we know that and we are lucky that Dad and I know our kids and pay close attention...

Google Family is great and does a very good job at managing what your child has access to digitally.. However, we found out the hard way that in order to truly protect our child.. Google Family Link just wasn't enough.

Parentshield however, changed the game! Everyone is now happy, safe and Dad and I have complete management over who can call or message, I can listen to any call she has and read any message to and from anyone. I can block any number and /or keep an allowed safe list only of callers and friends we know and trust. I can toggle thier phone between in school ours and out to stop problems arising with using the phone during lessons, and we can control downtime hours so bedtime is bedtime and no one is getting calls at silly times of night ! What we all have now is safe, healthy peace of mind.

I can't praise the system enough really. Customer Service through the parent app is almost instantaneous, you get a real, caring person who fixes your problem in minutes.

I kid you not, they are THAT good.
