Pass Functional Skills has demonstrated significant incompetence throughout my exam process.

Firstly, on the day I was scheduled to sit my writing exam, the platform experienced technical issues, and no one was able to provide any clear information about when the exam would resume. I waited an entire day, and by the next morning the system was still not functioning. Communication from PFS was extremely poor—I had to call multiple times just to receive basic updates.

Secondly, my university was unable to enrol me due to delays in receiving my results. I have now lost an entire academic year because of this, and PFS has taken no responsibility. Before I booked my exams, PFS failed to communicate that there would be a one-month delay in releasing results due to exam standardisation, instead of the six days stated. Had I known this, I would never have booked with PFS.

Pass Functional Skills has seriously jeopardised a young adult’s future, and I am deeply disappointed by their lack of professionalism, transparency, and accountability.

I fell upon PFS by accident when looking for past papers. I had purchased FS 2 course with another provider but it wasn't what I was looking for and started at the very beginning without a pre assessment. I needed to pass the FS 2 for University due to not being able to produce my O'Level certificates from the 1980s and there was a timescale to do so.

Once I'd completed the pre assessment with PFS I flew through the papers, they became addictive and so did the need to get a higher grade on every one.

When it was time to book my exams I felt fairly confident (I never assume the best) and got a cancellation. On both exams, the invigilators were very kind and empathetic to nerves but remained extremely professional.

I passed and it has encouraged me to consider taking level 3, I haven't taken that plunge yet as I'm now on the degree I wished to undertake.

I have recommended PFS to my friends and colleagues who need to gain their Maths and English GCSE, one friend has been using the Maths to assist her son who is doing his mocks.

I would highly recommend PFS to anyone, it's been a game changer for me. Thank you PFS.

Website was very easy to use. A good choice of easy, medium or hard practice questions after each topic. Videos were very clear explaining concepts. Plenty of mock exams to take and the exam itself was easy to access.

Honestly the level of support for students provided by Pass Functional skills was impeccable. There are numerous mock tests available and other learning materials to help you prepare. Passed first time while doing a full time job. 56/60 on my first attempt. Thank you!

Staff were very easy to communicate with and helped every step of the way. The site is very easy to use and my results came on time if not early. Would reccomend to anyone trying to gain their Functional Skills Qualifications.

The best online learning experience ever, and I have experienced quite a few. Online portal structure and contents is user oriented and friendly, with ample revision and learning material. 3 separate exams and not a single glitch, with exam registration and ID verification nailed at first attempt. The only, minor, downside was the excessive communication which, at first, was a little confusing.

The website and study materials were easy to use. Also customer service was super helpful and answered any calls fast and efficiently. They were very helpful and resolved any issues immediately. I am happy to have used their services and to have finally passed my maths exam and be able to apply to university.

I was afraid it will be a scam but it is not! The phone team people said it will be cheaper to book with them, I thought it was doggy but it was not.
The staff super helpful, especially Martha. I have to gain the qualification urgently so that I will have a chance to get the interview for the apprenticeship. Staff was super helpful as at one point I have to cancel my exam as I thought it is not gonna make it so that I do not have to rush it. However, something has changed so I need to take the exam ASAP. The staff offered me back the exam and I could take the exam. There were some troubles during the exam but everything got sorted at the end. I was very gratefull for passing my exam and has been successful in the interview so that the apprenticeship will start in Feb. It was such a life changer.

I was hesitant about booking online an online test as I feel there’s a lot that could go wrong.
Originally I only booked the course through Pass functional skills as I had booked with another company to do my maths test.
The other companies test was on an outdated system and honestly was a horrible experience and I left feeling deflated and upset. I waited a month for this external company to come back to me to let me know I had failed so I booked with PFS and there was some teething issues with the lockdown server but they pointed me towards the awarding body and I got it sorted.
I did my exam and I felt so confident, within 24 hours I was told I had passed and less than 48 hours later I had my e certificate.

After the first experience with a different exam centre I was so happy and grateful to them.

I even received a handwritten card to congratulate me on passing which I thought was really sweet.

I am forever grateful to PFS as I was on a deadline to pass my maths and I got there!!

I would use Pass Fuctional Skills all day everyday.
I cant recommend them enough.
It might seem like a lot of money. But it's definitely worth it doing it through them.
