Do you how hard it is to try and reset an admin password for desktop quickbooks? I hope you never have to find out and deal with intuit, but if you do, buy this software. I read the reviews. I read the article on cyberly.org as to whether passware is safe to use. I understood that purchasing a one-time use was non-refundable, so I opted to purchase the more expensive ($39) version for unlimited use on Word files, which has a 30-day money back guarantee. The file I needed opened hadn't been used since 2012. I knew there was a strong possibility the password contained numbers or could have been in Spanish. I held my breath, made the purchase, then downloaded the app on my computer. I started the process expecting it to take hours (or days). I was extremely surprised, and very happy that my password was recovered within 20 seconds (only letters in the password, no numbers). I am very happy with this purchase!
Bought the software to unlock some old files that I had, and it performed very well. It took some effort to figure out how to get it to work with the attack settings, but when using the large database, it unlocked it perfectly.

Bought the Passware software to remove a forgotten password. The software couldn’t unprotect the document (only the sheet protection).
Wrote to their support for them to cancel my purchase do to their 30 day money back guarantee. They refused as the onetime product don’t support this. So read the conditions carefully before buying.
