I got cut off, but they rang me back. Rang to enquire about insuring e bike, checked policy and were very helpful

We had been paying a building cover policy on a property we hadn’t lived in for years.
We sent the paperwork to payment Sheild proving we had sold the property and now receiving a large refund.

I discovered I had been paying insurance premiums for a house I sold 18 months ago, I called to cancel the insurance and they advised me how to make a claim for a refund. Within a week they issued a refund of £987 which I totally didn't expect for my own error. Thank you payment shield!

I spoke to Dawn who was delightful and explained everything perfectly and finally found us a better deal which included some extra items so a win/win situation. She couldn't have been nicer or more patient while I looked for documents etc.

Really helpful with my concerns and sorted my insurance quote promptly, Dawn was very friendly and clear with information.

Terrible cancellation process, made it so hard to find out where you can cancel your policy, then had to speak to a chatbot that led me in circles for hours! Eventually it said it will process my cancellation request and send me my documents in the post, don’t know why this can’t be done online!

I am extremely disappointed with this company and the way they handle their customer service.

I have had home insurance with this company for two years and have never made a claim. After the first year, I even received a discount. However, I have now been informed that my premium is going to increase significantly.

I contacted the company by email to discuss this, but I was told that I could only resolve the issue over the phone or via live chat. When I contacted live chat, I was told that they could not help me and that I would have to call them instead.

I explained that I am currently on holiday and would not be able to make a phone call before my new policy year begins. I also made it clear that the new premium was simply not affordable for me. When I explained that I would therefore have no choice but to cancel my policy, the response was simply that this was fine.

There was no attempt to understand my situation, offer an alternative, or find a solution that would allow them to retain me as a customer.

I find it extremely frustrating that a company directs customers to specific channels for support, only for those channels to be unable to help. Instead of making the process easier, they simply pass customers from one place to another.

After two years as a customer with no claims, I expected a much better level of service and a willingness to help. Unfortunately, this experience has left me very disappointed.

I would not recommend this company due to its very poor customer service and lack of effort to retain its customers.

I have had my house Insurance with payment shield a very long time. I have never had any problems with them.
I needed to change my policy to my new address. The lady from Payment shield was so helpful and patient on the phone with me as we were struggling to hear each other.
I even got a better deal than I had before.
They are very professional and look after their customers explicitly.

Every time I speak to someone from this company,you speak to nice people.
I have been with them for a good few years and unfortunately I left onl because I got a cheaper price

Even when I spoke to a lovely guy called ,Jay today to say that I am leaving (regrettably),he was still so polite, wished me well,and hoped that perhaps next year I may sign.up with payment shield.
No speaking to.people from all over the world ,but polite people from the uk. I am sorry to be leaving.

I am still receiving chasing emails about a policy I cancelled two weeks ago. There is no acceptance of email communications and the “chatbot” out of hours is impossible to deal with as it only accepts standard responses. A very difficult company to deal with.
