⭐⭐☆☆☆ Extremely Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience with PickYourTrail

I booked my trip to Eastern Europe through PickYourTrail, covering Prague, Bratislava, Zagreb, Ljubljana, Budapest, and Vienna. Unfortunately, the entire experience was marred by poor planning, lack of coordination, and serious operational lapses.

The most alarming issue was related to my Schengen visa. PickYourTrail planned and booked a 14-day itinerary (including travel days), whereas my Schengen visa was issued for only 13 days. This critical mismatch should have been identified by any competent travel planner. As a result, we were stopped at Frankfurt Airport during immigration, causing immense stress, anxiety, and embarrassment at the start of our trip. A serious situation was created solely due to their negligence in itinerary and visa planning.

Further, the company booked a 5-star property for three additional nights, resulting in an extra financial burden of nearly ₹50,000 on me. Despite acknowledging the issue and assuring me that the amount would be refunded, the promised reimbursement has still not been processed.

Throughout the trip, there was virtually no coordination with the ground support team. Whenever assistance was required, responses were delayed or inadequate. The support structure that was promised during the sales process was simply not available when it mattered the most.

What is most disappointing is that numerous commitments were made before booking regarding seamless travel, proactive support, and personalized service. However, most of these promises remained unfulfilled. Once the payment was made, the level of service fell drastically below expectations.

A honeymoon is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and travellers place their trust in professional travel companies to manage important details accurately. In my case, that trust was misplaced. The visa oversight alone could have resulted in far more serious consequences.

Based on my experience, I found the planning, communication, and customer support to be highly unsatisfactory. I would strongly advise prospective customers to thoroughly verify all visa requirements, itinerary details, hotel bookings, and refund commitments in writing before choosing PickYourTrail.

Overall, this was one of the most stressful and disappointing travel experiences I have encountered, and I cannot recommend their services based on my experience.

We had an amazing Singapore trip from 13th to 23rd May, and we are truly thankful to Pickyourtrail for making it such a smooth and memorable experience. In our case Pickyourtrail was involved in booking all the activities and transportation part.

Extremely smooth booking process and were available 24/7 throughout the trip for assistance. Had a great honeymoon trip to Philippines thanks to their service.

Onfield coordinators- Ms.Cathrine and Ms.Farasha are very approachable and helpful through the trip.

Only communication through Trippie during the initial days and after making payments - is very disturbing. We must accept that the communication through Trippie- Autobot is not so helpful.

The booking process was very smooth. The team understood the kind of holiday we were planning to have and accordingly have created the itinerary. Overall it was a great experience.

It was a well planned executed and supported trip. We enjoyed the trip a lot. Special mention to Mr harish and ms aishwarya ramesh. Ms aishwarya ramesh helped plan a customised itenary extremely well. We did KL, LANGKAWI AND SINGAPORE in 8 days and managed to cover the important area in all the places and still catch a breath in between. It was also matching the tastes of my parents and my wife and daughter. Then Mr harish from the moment we boarded the flight, every day there were check in calls and any issues he helped us out very well. There was only one hiccups I would like to mention one the mdac form for malaysia was sent to a wrong mail id and then we had to make fill out another mdac form on the morning of departure. Otherwise it was a great trip, a lifetime memorable trip for us, thanks to pick ur trail

Great experience with PYT.

Pick your trail helped to plan my trip to Singapore in a very organized fashion. They helped me with a seamless visa, customized itenary based on my preferences and were flexible to accommodate changes. The best part is the constant support from the ground team and periodic and detailed updates. They were in touch at every step and made us feel safe and secure.

It was hassle free experience. From booking process to completion of holiday everything was very easy and well supported by the whole team of PYT.

To begin with the recommendations and booking process was so cooperative enough. Thanks to Jeevan for planning the holidays. From the execution team. Mr. Harish has been hand holding us throughout. This was yet another hassle free trip for us. Everyday schedule with the e-tickets as needed along with the transport details are provided promptly by previous day evening. For non alcoholic - vegetarians like us...kindly ensure to make food arrangements accordingly. You are the only source we can trust in and appreciate if you can either guide us or provide us with necessary food.

We have booked a group trip with lots of excitement to Bali and Malaysia from 25 th April till 3 May 2026.

The trip stated off really well,we had a lovely stay in Ubud at Dhanaka villa.
We had a great time,the vehicle for our trip was comfortable and driver (Mr.Yohan)was very polite and understanding.

We were expecting same or a decent level of stay at our next destination Seminyak.
Paragon hotel Seminyak turned out to be a very old and low quality 4 star hotel with a very dated and leaky bathroom,where staff didn't have the basic knowledge of how to check in guests with multiple rooms bookings.
We are a family of 11 with 3 kids and senior citizens were made to check in two connecting rooms which we later understood were family rooms meant for single family.
Later the hotel did offer us 2 extra rooms,out of 1 room we didn't check in,the staff conveniently kept blaming us for not providing 2 extra passports during check in .They were extremely impolite
We thought the worst was over,but when we reached KL and checked into Furama Bukit bintang hotel.
The hotel has no bellboy to carry luggage accross multiple floors,water has to filled up in a jug with water dispenser situated on the other side of the lobby.
We were not stingy about a budget for a decent 4-5 hotels.
This very low quality hotel selection by their team just to cut corners really just ruined our whole trip experience.
The last thing any one travelling needs is a decent hotel with clean and functional bathrooms.
Extremely disappointed with pickyourtrail for providing us with such poor quality hotels.
