App helps save income and expenses which can be really helpful. Also there is assistance as and when required. I would recommend the app and it encourage people to download it who struggle with financial expenses it definitely helps reduce any worries as you can ask for assistance to check over as and when required.

Good app, helpful support, some changes needed
App is user friendly and there is great app support available.
I paid for the tax check and had a pleasant adviser who called me. There are issues that he couldn’t see the documents if uploaded and the ones he could see related to a separate transaction. Although they were correct at my end.
I found it strange that for a tax software when I paid for the service they couldn’t issue a receipt for me to put against the transaction. Simply saying a copy of the bank statement will do. This seems highly irregular and would suggest they implement the ability to provide receipts for services paid for. It is a tax return after all that requires receipts to be photographed or uploaded!
All in all I see this as a potentially good cost saving submission for basic tax returns for sole traders. Although I have not yet submitted my return and may have comments further should HMRC question anything about it.
Time will tell but it looks like a good start has been made and if improvements continue this could be a God send for sole traders who struggle to comprehend the complexities of tax returns and also who don’t have the budget to spend £££’s on systems like Xero.

Regarding the receipt, we understand your concern. As purchases are processed through the Google Play or Apple App Store, you’ll automatically receive an email confirmation from them which serves as your receipt. In addition, the payment will appear clearly in your bank statements. HMRC accepts both of these as valid proof of expenditure, so you should be well covered when keeping records for your return.

Personal opinion is the app is just too fiddly to work with right now, but it's 5 stars because when I reached out to customer support about that - they did reference there was discount for the 'we do it for you' type service.
With Monzo it was pulling in all movements across pots, within the same back account, as expenditure etc. I have no energy to sort that.
But anyway, Prabhjot dealt with and submitted by tax return for 2024-25 on Sunday 6th April. Very happy!

Great app and it has potential
Finally, something that helps making taxes to look slightly easier to understand.
Of course, some features need improvement, but it was easy enough for me to see my numbers and ask for help when needed. It just needs an AI to do it for me instead of myself. I tried ChatGPT, but it's gotten too much wrong, you're missing the boat here.
