Property was excellent but having trouble getting our £250 deposit returned!
When contacting them they just say it has been released and to contact our bank. It is now well over 2 weeks and no communication at all. Trading standards will be called ina couple of day if not resolved. Steer clear of this company
Great accomodation - poor communication
Great holiday accommodation in Barnstaple provided by Pillow Partners. The property was as described and exceeded my expectations.
On the other hand the booking process and overall communication was very poor.
1. The initial booking required card authorisation in US dollars. Whilst no money taken, it was very confusing.
2. Only after I'd formerly booked was I presented with booking conditions which was impossible for me to fulfil. Why wasn't these conditions upfront on the website? There followed long conversations with an overseas fulfillment centre who took over, I think, before 9am and after 5pm weekdays and after 12 noon Saturdays. The conversations were good or dire depending on the rep, and, at one point I was asked to copy my national ID card. Huh? Finally resolved, but still a delay whilst the website was updated.
3. I was promised contact during the first 24 hours to check everything was going smoothly. No contact
4. A damage deposit of £250 was earmarked on my credit card before the start of the booking. Two days after the conclusion it vanished. It reappeared a day later then subsequently vanished again - but at no time did I get a message to say that everything was left at the property to their satisfaction at the end of my stay, and the deposit was no longer needed.

I had a terrible experience in a property rented by pillow partners in Exeter and despite there being unsanitary conditions at the property (mould, pet hairs, overuse of air fresheners to try and hide the mouldy smell in the entire property, floorboards with gaps and in unsuitable condition, cockroach…) my complaints always met a polite but gaslighting answer and we weren’t offered alternative accomodation.
Excellent Company – Reliable and Efficient
We have been working with Pillow Partners for some time now and our experience has been very positive. The company operates extremely efficiently and everything runs like clockwork. Communication is always clear and professional, which makes the working relationship smooth and straightforward.
One thing that really stands out is their reliability. Payments are always made on time without any issues, which is something we really value when working with a partner company.
On the rare occasion that something needs attention, their team deals with it quickly and professionally and ensures everything is resolved as soon as possible.
Overall, Pillow Partners are a well-run, organised and dependable company, and we would have no hesitation recommending them to others.

Pillow Partners do not pay on time to contracted cleaners. In fact the owners went way on honeymoon in December and didn't pay. This meant that no money was received for Christmas pay!!!!
It's absolutely disgusting. Cleaners are often the lowest paid out of everyone.
And it continues now into nearly March - with continued unkept promises of payment or not even responding at all.
It's disgusting that the owners post all over social media, but can't take the time to sort out their finances.
I know im not the only one it's happening to.

Pillow Partners owe money to landlords!
My husband let out a property with Pillow Partners and has not received payment for November lettings. Can't get hold of anyone to speak to anyone and getting ignored!

This company does not pay!! I'm still waiting for 2 months cleaning bill to be settled and its impossible to speak to anyone!! ....my cottage is currently needing cleaned but I will not be doing any further cleans until my bill is settled
Fails to pay service providers
I am a business that provides cleaning services to properties this company represents. Rory does not pay on time often 3 weeks late with no courtesy communication. Ignores messages, tells blatant lies in order to stall payment and wholly unprofessional upon calling for resolution. If he carries on like this he will lose all service providers as I presume im not the only one he is doing this to.
Not recieving payments
i'm a host with three properties .The bookings have been strong and up until September payments have made to us, rarely on time. We havent received payments for September , November or December .
local property managers are amazing but have been left in the dark and the MD is apparently on holiday

Leider wenig Versandinfos daher Verunsicherung beim Kunden
Ich hatte die ganz Zeit seit meiner Bestellung ein schlechtes Gefühl. Bezahlt vorab und überhaupt keine Versandinfos. Keine Antwort auf schriftliche Mailanfragen. Letztendlich kam die Bestellung an. Für bessere Verwertungen würde vielleicht eine umfangreichere Kommunikation helfen. Ware kommt aus den Niederlanden und dauert wohl etwas länger. Aber ich habe sie ca.3 Wochen nach meiner Bestellung erhalten.
