Pipers Crisps Reviews 

I bought my first ever bag of the sea salt crisps, sadly it will be my last. The bottom of the bag was swimming with oil, as were the last few crisps. Not pleasant at all.

Sent an email 2 Jan 20024, offering customer feedback.
Did not appear to gain the courtesy or professionalism of a response!
Given my 51 years in the food trade, Complacency can be a massive mistake!

Sweet chilli not great. Big thick crisps compared to most unfortunately tasted like nothing, slightly stale no flavour or crunch to them, purchased from a baguette shop in Reading. Put them in the baguette and did not really add to it hahahaha

As someone else has pointed out, seems that since PepsiCo bought Pipers crisps they've gone from being among the best to pretty average. From crisp crunch, with signs of farm to table they are frequently softer, and if you exchange them, you get the same thing more often than not. In fact I barely recognise them from the original - such a pity, and having written to Pipers/PepsiCo to help explain, seems like the age old complacency has set in. Unless it changes I guess Pipers are heading down the list, and not just retailers but pubs, bars, cafes, restaurants - will look elsewhere. After all they're not that inexpensive but are more Walkers than Pipers these days. Won't be buying them again unless hear they've reverted back to proper crisps again.

These crisps have changed since they were first out.
Pipers Anglesey sea salt were fresh and almost tasted like chips for a chip shop!
Sadly now more like cardboard.

Brought a bag of 150g sea salt and vinegar, most of the crisps were in bits, to much salt and not enough vinegar, way overpriced for what you get, used to be good.
But that was when they would never be in supermarkets and prefer selling to bars and cafes etc.
Obviously sold out in the end for profit and probably don't get ingredients from anywhere different to any other maker.

Just had my first bag of PIPERS Anglesey plain crisps ,absolutely lovely,well impressed.

These were never great for being whole, square and unbroken.
I stopped buying them for a while as they were quite expensive and I felt they didn't meet my expectations.
Recently tried them again and found them to be even worse!
Only 2 complete chips in the whole pack!
The rest were either a pile of crumbs, so varied in thickness that they were almost transparent, otherwise, mega thick jaw breakers!
Waste of money.

The best sea salted crisps I have tasted better than walkers better than kettle I bought one packet and went back for another two will stick to them in future I am nearly seventy two years old and never tasted better thanks for asking for my feedback

Pipers cheddar and onion crisps. Just bought a pack in the Pen Mill Hotel, Yeovil. Cracking old fashioned crisps with a lovely crunch and great taste. Hang on, think I will have another pack!

Atlas Mountains wild thyme & rosemary crisps , well that’s what it said on the packet , though you would be hard pressed to have detected those flavours from the contents. Instead there is an overuse of salt which totally saturated any other subtle tastes that may or may not be present.so a huge disappointment all round as the experience was of over salted plain crisps .Thankfully they were on offer which lowered the hit to my pocket .If this is the best Pipers can produce they should stick to milking cows as they were pretty vile and very misleading !
