Highly recommend Pitman Training. I joined the Data Analyst program through the Amazon Career Choice Program and finished with distinction.
Not only I learned a lot of new things (Excel, Python, R programming, SQL, etc) but the team is very helpful also.
When I got really sick I needed an extension and Mike, Simon and the rest of the Leeds team where really helpful. Thank you.

Definitely recommend Pitman
I attended the Pitman training centre in Liverpool last week. It was my first exam in over 20 years & the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Making sure I was looked after & comfortable as well as imposing strict exam regulations. Definitely use Pitman for further training.

Pitman training cork not responding to emails or phone calls. Was contacted through whatsapp (really proffesional) and after responding there was no reply from the whatsapp number.4400euro for IT technician course and they can not pick the phone

When we shared your review with the team, they confirmed that they have no record of you as a current or former student of Pitman Training Cork? If your comments are related to another student, strict GDPR guidelines prevent us from discussing any details without their express permission.
The team mentioned that a student, who may be the individual in question, enrolled over a year ago but had not engaged with their training despite weekly check-ins and encouragement from the Cork team.

Would not recommend
Microsoft Office skills was sold to me that I would manage online and take 90 hours to complete. If I needed help, support was a phone call away or I could visit the centre in Epsom, which was closest to me.
When I asked to buy one module at a time, I was told no, I had to pay in full or I could pay in three instalments, one month at a time.
I have spent 70 hours and only competed Word Part 1. I still have Part 2, Excel, Power Point and Outlook to do. There is no branch in Epsom, so I have to go into London Holborn.
A student there bought Word individually. So asked another salesperson how the pricing worked and she said I could buy individual modules. The same student found she was taking much longer than too and we heard inductions being done and students told to expect their work to take longer.
My reality of working online was getting home from work at 7pm, eating, then 8pm worked on Word, when the centre was closed. So waited a week until my day off to get help, making slow progress.
I then took annual leave to get work done, only for Pitman to cancel or change the plan last minute. This wasted my time and annual leave, so I couldn't trust them to be reliable.
My hours changed so I could go in Saturdays only to be told they were closing Saturdays. I asked for my money back, was told no as they would open again. Took 6 weeks before they opened Holborn again.
On Saturdays I get 3hrs work done in 5 hours as the person helping is so stretched, doing CV help, exams, answering phones etc.
I feel angry I am in this situation when I was trying to do something for my future to change career, they took my money, I feel like I have been scammed.

I started a course in June 2023 with…
I started a course in June 2023 with Maidstone. I started in good faith that I would be fully supported through out, as had been promised. The only communication I had was to let me know I needed to complete my studies 3 months into a years contract. In October, I received an email that they had closed. Pitman (franchise) refused any refunds or additional support. Forcing me to pay the balance to retain access to their portal, but still no support. They are not interested in students, only money.
Since then I have been trying to move on to complete training independently. I am finding that the AAT website doesn't fully match the training provided, which is tedious and unengaging.

Just completed Microsoft Access and Excel Expert Courses
Just achieved a Distinction in the Microsoft Access and Excel Expert Courses. Being able to combine studying at home using their distance learning, which was synchronised perfectly with the systems on site was a real bonus for me. I gained a really strong knowledge in each of my courses which will help within my career as a Finance Administrator.
The support from the staff is outstanding at all times and in addition to helping you with the courses they also do things like CV workshops which I took advantage of and have just been offered a new job. The facilities within the Manchester Training Centre are also excellent there are always plenty of computers available and the kitchen area is extremely clean and well maintained. To anyone thinking of studying with Pitman would definitely recommend them.

I'm self Studying AAT and this is the…
I'm self Studying AAT and this is the only assessment centre provider that made it easy to book an exam! I emailed a few other companies - BPP, Barnsley college and got no customer service and no help. Seems like Pitman are the only company with an online booking system for exams. Havent actually sat my exam yet so hopefully it's a good experience!

What disappointing service!
I joined my pre booked call to discuss an ICDL course with Pitman training Southend that I booked a while ago and no one from Pitman joined the call.
So I phoned the main number. Someone answered with just “Hello” not saying they were Pitman training (not very professional - have I dialled the right number…?)
I was told that I had to confirm my appointment and that’s why no one had joined the call!!
Nowhere on my email does it say I have to confirm my call. Plus I have just found an email confirming my appointment over a week ago???!!!
Then I was told that they don’t do ICDL courses anymore (even though it says that on their website)!
If this is how they treat customers from the start I am unlikely to be spending my money with them.
What a complete waste of my time!

My Medical…
I have recently passed my Medical Admin Diploma, Nichola, David & Amanda at Pitman Swansea were amazing from the beginning . They were very helpful & supportive. They took their time to explain everything, I could do the course in the centre or from home or I could do both if I needed, so I could complete my course in around my job. if I had any queries outside office hours I could contact them even on a weekend, I could also make arrangements with them to go into the office on a Saturday to sit my exams. I would highly recommend Pitman Swansea from my experience.
