Powersheds Reviews

Ordered a 8x6 pent shed. It looks to be very good quality and I was able to arrange delivery day that suited me. The customer service team were also very helpful on the phone.

We ordered a summerhouse and it was delivered on Wednesday afternoon on two pallets. All components where there and we had finish the build by Saturday lunchtime. The quality was excellent. Fully recommend

The TOP company for sheds of the highest quality. How do I know that? We at Mondrelog Ltd have designed and built a fully automated system for component painting. The painting is done by dipping parts into a 12T tank of treatments. Indeed, the tank technology never leaves any air bubbles or uneven coating on the parts. Other companies spray, and this is an old way of doing that. Great people to deal with and top-quality sheds!

Great experience from start to finish. Couldn’t recommend this company enough. Then there’s the quality of the sheds themselves, not seen a better she’d to be quite honest.

Top class service, called up for a spare key and provided a super fast solution following one phone call, very impressed!

A nicely constructed shed and well put together. Very thoughtful to put small removable blocks at the bottom of the pieces to prevent damage if mishandled.
The man who delivered the shed was very helpful and really cheerful- thank you to him!

We received our powershed order quickly and efficiently. The potting shed is really well made, and very easy to assemble ,it looks great in the garden, and a real bonus getting two really sturdy shelves included.
We'd recommend the shed to anyone looking for a quality garden building.

Very poor quality, splits, warped parts, gaps in tongue and groove, badly repaired defects.

Purchased my shed 2021 after BBC news highlight the firm looking to employ staff being made redundant from the airport. The quality of the shed matches the quality of the after care service. 5 years on and the shed is like new. Needed a key ,It was not an issue

Absolutely brilliant shed can't recommend enough we bought the 8 x 6 pent roof it looks brilliant and even with all the rain shed is completely water tight

Love this company. Excellent product and customer service and cannot fault. I’m absolutely delighted with my new 12x8 Premium apex shed. The quality is outstanding and I would highly recommend. A special thanks to Sara in customer services for sorting out a few things along the way, and holding my hand throughout. Great job from a very happy customer 👏

Powersheds can supply a shed in pretty much any size by just adding more sections, ours is 18 x 8. But it turns out that the more sections you add the more likely the panels are not going to match each other.
Two of our panels were 2.5 cm longer than all the others. This meant that the panels did not match the surrounding panels, and the ship lap was out of line. At the bottom the panel is 2.5 cm lower than the ones next to it.
I did not like this look, but Powersheds would not change the panel and said somewhere in their literature it says that they cannot guarantee the panels will match up.
This seems odd to me, especially with such a big difference like ours. So after spending over £2000 on a shed I was going to have to look at a front panel that does not match the rest of the shed and is 2.5cm lower.
This would probably be less of an issue for a small shed, and may not happen at all. In the end I had to modify the front panel to make it match the others as closely as possible, and Powersheds did work with me on this to try and resolve it, and the modified panel looks much better.

potting shed was delivered quite quickly and all on one pallet too.
quite a few bits to put together but following instructions was no problem and easy step by step video on YouTube. i lost instructions but rang company who were happy to help me download new ones. most helpful chap on phone

A few weeks ago I purchased a 6 x 4 shed from Powersheds. It has now been erected and I can honestly say how happy the whole experience has been from the helpful staff to the delivery on the day. Everything went through smoothly and the shed stands very proudly in my garden. I would definitely recommend this Company and would not hesitate to purchase from them again.

The summerhouse is really good quality, we got it to replace an older one that had started to fall apart. It was delivered quickly and we found it very easy to assemble. Thank you to everyone at Powersheds for the great service

We recently bought a new 8x6 shed from Powersheds for our garden, and we are extremely satisfied—not only with the quality of the wood but also with how easy it was to assemble. We had originally planned to paint it before it arrived, but once we erected it, we decided to leave it as it is, as painting it would have taken away from its natural quality. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a shed that will last.

My shed arrived quickly and on a day I choose. It was easy to unpack and I could see it was well made. It suggested 2 people to put it together. I would suggest this as it will make life easier. I however managed to put it together on my own. The assembly instructions were nice and easy to follow and it was supplied with a good supply of fixtures and fittings.

The item was delivered tightly packed on a pallet, and from the outside everything appeared acceptable, which is why delivery was initially accepted. However, once unpacked, a large amount of damage was discovered hidden internally between the panels and framing.

Issues found included:

Multiple split structural timbers
Cracked and broken tongue-and-groove panels
Impact damage to corners and framing
Damaged edges affecting fitment
Visible mould on some sections
Splits running through support pieces and wall framing

This was far beyond normal “natural timber checking” and clearly not what I would expect from a brand-new product. Several pieces appear to have either been damaged during transport or packed despite already being damaged.

What is most frustrating is that much of the damage was concealed inward while palletised, meaning it could not reasonably be identified before unpacking.

I documented everything with extensive photographs immediately after opening and am now having to pursue a return/refund process for something that should have arrived in usable condition.

Very poor quality control and overall experience.

Philip Bentham Staffordshire. So I started looking for a man cave for my big garden and new house in Staffordshire. From the initial contact to ask about sizes and general build information, to receiving answers and suggestions, to getting prices and changing design, to getting information so I could get a build price, to giving me time to compare other suppliers. The service and assistance was nothing short of superb. We bought a 4x3 metre log cabin, changed the window layout and awaited delivery date. That came fast. The truck arrived and delivered a package onto my drive. The diver could not have been more helpful. It was well packed.
I employed a joiner to build the hut, who had some questions, Powersheds gave him all the information he needed to build what can only be described as a building that enhanced our garden. We have sent photos of the completed building, along with a photo and name of the joiner who built it. This was great value for money. It looks fantastic. Even the joiner was impressed.
My thanks to everyone at Powersheds.
