I was facing many issues with my previous agent which I explained to Georgia who then ensured the transition to Prime was smooth, efficient, well communicated and dealt with in no time. I switched to Prime Residential just under a year ago to manage a property I rent out in Wakefield. I needed to save money and they offered a good deal. Big mistake! The service I have received has been the worst I have had from any agent I have dealt with. My Tenant reported some issues not long after he moved in, just under a year ago and they still have not been resolved. I have chased and chased and still got nowhere. They tried to overcharge on repairs, didn't respond to emails in a timely fashion took months to get quotes, and lied about the work being done. I have basically paid for a service I did not get. Now I am having to deal with a very upset tenant myself as they haven't done what they should have. The tenant is also very upset with the service they got, and having spoke to him, it is clear they were not upfront with us both right from the beginning. The people I dealt with were Eoghan Taggart & Dan Chadwick.
I thought I could save money, but it is a case of getting what you pay for! Or NOT getting what you paid for in this case. I will be reporting them to The Property Ombudsman.

I have just received the below reply from Prime and would like to respond by giving some context. I did authorise a quote and was told the repairs were going ahead. I have the emails to show this. They never happened.
The reason I turned the first quote down is because you were trying to charge ridiculously high rates. Which when I complained to Dan back in December, about he agreed with apologised and said he would sort it himself immediately as he agreed the delays and service had not been good. He didn't do what he promised and when after much chasing and months later I got a second quote and I agreed it in April and the works have not been done and I have not heard from Prime. Again all evidence of this is on emails.
Prime have not been willing to help both Dan & Eoghan are not responding. I have asked them to pass my complaint on to someone senior and for them to contact me but have been ignored. I finally have the Managing Directors contact details and I will be emailing him my complaint and evidence which will not only support what I am saying, but show Prime have acknowledged they are in the wrong! I suggest you don't reply on here again without finding out the full facts.
