PrivacyPortal are really very good. I'm on my 3rd phone from them for my daughter but she allowed the phone to update. Reported the issue to PP and a remote root was booked to fix it. PP connected to my laptop and performed the remote root with me responding on my phone via a discord channel. A lot of work goes into the process and I was very impressed.

Really good and reliable company, offered all of the service and support that was suitable to me. Will definitely be back.

I bought to rooted phones from them back in 2024, and they were working perfectly until recently the phones were not longer good with the software. I opened a ticket on discord and explained my issue, within minutes i had an appointment set up. To conclusion the work this team does is amazing and trust me you will be zombified by the knowledge it brings.

I ordered a jail broken iOS I recieved it in 2 days in perfect condition and the phone itself had no software problems. 10/10!

Bought £100 of pokecoins and it's been over a month without receiving them. I tried contacting them via discord, email and their website with little to no response or them repeatedly saying they will be done shortly and still the coins never appear.

Its unfortunate because I have bought two rooted phones from them in the past which has all worked out really well!

Unfortunately, I can't give them a good rating. They bricked the device and are not answering to the ticket. It looks like a one man company (check their info at gov.uk), so be careful with your money.

They ship products, that don't work. Thet promise to fix them remotely, which they don't. They just waste enough time so that you can't return the product with their return periodi.

They will ask you to buy extra services, don't fall into that trap. Thete are multiple rumours that Niantic and Scopely will issue a Cease and Desist, since they are marketing their product bypassing cheat detection. Then you will be left completely alone with a device, that doesnt work.

Ghosted on multiple occasions
Since the company keeps fighting to remove my reviews. Here’s another one. I’ve had 4 different transactions with them and none have been pleasant. Currently here is the situation. Dec 16 booked a remote session, I claim they bricked my device, they say they didn’t. Didn’t reply for 2.5 weeks leaving me high and dry without an explanation. Jan.2 they refunded me the cost of my phone in the form of in store credit, later on refunded me the cost of the remote session. Ordered a new phone Jan.5 waited and waited for weeks, contacted them asking what is taking and the 5-7 day turn around is actually 10-15. Waited past that date without any status change then complained at the 16 day mark. Then magically at 17 days, order changed to “fulfilled” without any tracking information and no response since then. Complained again and they said that they were sorry that I deserve the tracking and to email their “escalations” email. I do so and email box is full and cannot get through. I’ve been messaging, emailing and posting on all of their forms of contact trying attempt my due diligence. In trying to contact them. They have block me on 2 and counting of their socials.

I just want my phone. I think 2 months without a phone is enough don’t you?

If you can find what your looking for else where, I would do so.

Hi, 2nd review for this page. After waiting a long time 2-3weeks+ for the phone, it imminently had defects. "No Command" and other issues, I had to go through the phone deleting and keeping useful stuff.

Back to the "No Command", I reached out and he replied saying id have to pay for it to be fixed and send it back. 1) IF I send it back I mostly wont see it for another month. 2) It was first time use and it broke. Again like my first post, Its a money scam. Do not ever buy from this place, not sure how it has good reviews.

Edit: I fixed this myself after a quick 1min YouTube video... Then took me 30s with the phone. He could've sent me a video on how to fix it but instead he wanted more of my time and money.

Have been waiting for weeks. Tracking link nr is not working. It was also possible to upgrade to a better one, but canceling my order was nog an option. I have to wait for it to arrive to return it. Be carefull with these people!!

Ordered a phone in July, 31 days later, a bright white strip develops on the Google Pixel 6 Pro's screen from top to bottom - obviously a screen failure (£290!) and is permanently visible. The phone is not unusable, but it does disturb the view on-screen and the phone received no mistreatment - this was a genuine failure.

After a couple of attempts to email support, auto-replies inviting me to a Discord support group that doesn't exist, after 3 weeks I got a reply form Daniel (16th Sept) asking for the order number. I sent all the details back and 6 weeks later, not a single peep - despite me sending follow-ups and more auto-replies with the same old non-existent Discord support group.

Now, last week my daughter drops the phone and breaks the screen in an otherwise unaffected area - rendering my opprtunity to get a fair replacement totally void, even if they did respond at this point.

Needless to say, now I need another phone, but currently look for another source, as their "pre-used" phones appear prone to unexpected breakage - which is understandable given they're second-hand and refurbed (I assume).

I know the difficulties too as to running such a business and having such issues with pre-used property you then sell on. It's a bit of a lottery, as PP can't guarantee the quality of the hardware in a used device and if it fails JUST after the standard 30 day guarantee - you\re screwed.

I basically wasted £300 on this company and I'll be damned if I go back to give them more to replace the shoddy thing they first sold (worse still, totally ignored the problem from a support angle. 3 months waiting for anythng.

They get 2 stars because I genuinely believe they're trying to help and catalyse an important awareness about tech and big data and personal privacy.

It's apparent there's no integrity or honour here.

These guys are the real freaking deal-hollyfield. I've bought 2 phones from them soo far and let me tell you they definitely do not disappoint. The mods they give are great and the phone qualities are pretty good for being used. On top of that they offer excellent remote root services that only take about 10 minutes. They're definitely my go to for this kind of stuff.

I’ve worked with Privacy Portal quite a few times now in a few aspects, and not one time am I disappointed. This is your guy for Rooted devices . PP is amazing to work with, and always look forward to spending my play money on their products and services 😁
