Everything has gone wrong with my exam! I tried to take an exam for an hour and a half and I couldn’t even get past stage two because it kept saying failed to connect. please contact support. The staff was in no way helpful as I spoke to eight different technicians, and all of them said the same thing! refresh, restart check your connection! Then at one point they wanted to remotely access my computer! I told them no and asked for them just to instruct me so that I could fix it because I don’t trust people with my personal computer! Then they just ended the session and won’t even give me a refund! This is completely unprofessional behavior!

You literally cannot do anything with these people. I stem a lot because of my ADHD and I tend to veer off thinking about how I should go about answering the questions on the exams and they kept interrupting me and telling me to not look away from the screen and to not rock back and forth. They also kept stopping me and had me do a 360-degree pan of the area I was taking my test in because I kept veering off. Lol, I cannot make this up. It was pissing me off so much because they kept interrupting me knowing my exam is timed. Also, they love taking control of everything on your computer, including your mouse and do things for you like they know what the hell they are doing. I had to literally tell the person who was proctoring me they were going on the wrong websites for me to take my exam and they were doing whatever the hell they wanted to do anyway. Not to mention, it took almost an hour and a half to FINALLY take the exam. I was wondering what the hell was going on so I contacted their customer service line/chat, and they were no help either, telling me obvious things I should try to get the system working again like I haven't done all those things already?! Just useless. I was also told recently that I can't have Zoom installed on my computer. No where in the fine print they have says that and no other proctor said to do that except for this one person proctoring me. So, I was forced to uninstall it to continue my exam. I HATE that my school uses them for exams and proctoring because this is NOT it AT ALL!!!! I wouldn't give these people any stars if I had the option. 😒☹️

If I could rate 0, I would. Firstly, I was late to my test because my proctor accidentally reset my password and I had to change it via email? My proctor then gave me false information about how to leave my program when I went to the toilet. I then got KICKED out and was unable to complete my test and the status changed to test completed. Proctoru blamed this on a technical glitch and tried to exit chats when I questioned what had happened. After 3 attempts at talking to someone, I was told I have to seek support externally with my organisation and to reschedule my test. The 2.5 hour test took 4.5 hours and still more to go…

I had to use Proctoru to write an exam, I took the exam they gave me which was very hard, turns out they gave me the wrong one so I wasted 4 hours out of my day just to be required to retake to correct exam. (Their fix for this was not charging full price to write the correct exam).
Today I took the correct exam, and every hour I was interrupted and told to show my whole room, taking time off my exam.
I was allowed to use paper to write down my thoughts, but when I was “looking at them for too long” I was told to throw them away and get blank pieces of paper - so the original notes I wrote were a waste of time.
There was a clear language barrier so I was unable to communicate to them that I was allowed to write down notes, and shouldn’t have to throw them away just because I was looking at them. I don’t understand why I’m from Canada paying someone in India to just to screw up my exams, waste my time/money!!

I had a experience with proctorU where the proctoring service was from meazure. I had a technical error which they were not able to help me. And clearly said I dont know, the guy was replying me late and ignoring in between my exam. What i don't understand is why I sitting from europe has a examiner from India with zero knowledge, worse internet connectivity and zero professionalism. Is that what we pay such a high price for? After i came here and read the reviews I just realized its common. Terrible experience, terrible IT Incompetent Proctors, zero professionalism.

yesterday i had to write a exam that i need to start my new career but because of proctorU technical difficulties i was unable to write the exam. When i contacted tech support all they did was take control of my laptop refresh the page then closed everything and hung up on me i called back and they said i only had 2gb of ram and i needed 7 when i have 8gb of ram in my laptop. after all this i was not allowed into the exam anymore so i called them again and they asked me multiple unrelated questions put me on hold and would hang up when i called again it was always the same gaslighting and incompetence as before just all over again.

this is my first time leaving a negative review but with all that happened yesterday with them i felt it was well deserved i hope i never have to deal whit proctorU again.

My daughter is taking a TSI exam and ProcturU is administering the test and it has been the worst experience EVER! Almost 46 minutes in and my daughter still has. It started taking her test! This has been super frustrating! I am honestly thinking about suing for emotional distress to my child! Never in history have a seen a test taking site take this long to allow a student in, EVER! Worst experience

It took about 5 protractors and about 4 hours to finally finish my test. 50 minutes to start since they were having technical difficulties. One specific protractor was super rude yelling out "hello hello can you hear me" after I kept telling him my microphone didn't work. They made me so upset I was on the verge of tears. Almost failed my exam, i couldn't concentrate after him. I don't understand why schools keep using this. I was so close to bailing on my exam multiple times just to not deal with these people.

Everything is done to pay twice for exams, the dates/time format is misleading, it's very easy to click teought and send empty exam, there are no double checks and UX practices that all normal companies use. They do everything to push a student into a trap to double pay for exams. And Who describes 00:40 at night as 12:40 AM??? I just lost my money and not going to pay them anything more even if I won't be allowed to start my study program.

Horrible. Read the other reviews, no need for me to say anything. Created a yelp account just for this. Would give 0 stars if I could.

The absolute worst proctoring company. They refused to let me take my exam because of a CCTV monitor that’s across the room, when the rules from ServSafe only say that you can’t be recorded on CCTV. Why are we letting people with a severe lack of reading comprehension proctor? While I was trying to get it situated the proctor just ended the session.

Very bad experience with ProctorU. The platform had many glitches and my university test did not start properly. Because of these technical issues, I could not take the test and it badly affected my result. Very unreliable tool and not recommended.

BEWARE OF PROCTORU!!!! Unfriendly, inefficient, and horribly confusing process. Rules on one page contradict rules on another and proctors do not know the difference. 3rd time rescheduling exam as one proctor didn't show up, and another disconnected after taking over a hour in precheck. Reconnected immediately and then spent 50 minutes on the phone with customer support trying to get reconnected, only to have to reschedule and get argued with about paying the fee. (I ended up getting it waved but after 15 minutes of back and forth). DO NOT USE PROCTORU

I haven’t even taken my first test but for the last hour I have been trying to log in to test my computer and it has been not working whatsoever. This is the worse functioning system I have ever had to use, and the fact that I had to spend money on this every time I take a test is unbelievable. I have never written a review ever. That’s how painfully hard, confusing, and frustrating I am with this system. Rightfully so, I honestly did not know a program like this even existed, and I wonder why this even exists in the first place. Slow and inconvenient for a student that just wants to take exams and earn a degree.🥲

If there is a Iway to give them -ZERO that will be the best to honestly describe them. Very unprofessional staffs. The Proctor ended my session without any issue. Lied and sent video. Their own video proof them wrong. I was vindicated! thank God the school have more expertise than the nonsense associates and proctors that ProctorU has. They are scammers. they just want to end your session and move to the next victim. They are preying on student for rebooking fees. I created a ticket for the incident, all their associates send a robotic or AI generated response that is not even related to the issue on the ticket.
Very heartless individuals. I still dont know why schools will outsource this kind of service to india or pakistan or outside the USA? Create job here. Let our tax stays here. i understand the cheap labor, but this does not worth it.

I've bought twice for the premier practice of OKTA that i am supposed to be able to take 7 times each time. And each time it's CANCELLED without no reason after one hour. This app should be banned.

Support team was awful and basically told me it my problem should work itself out by the time my exam started. It did not. Had to reschedule my exam and use my single make up for the course because the support team was incompetent. Also had to give them complete access to my computer while they went through all of my files and checked my applications.

If I could give ProctorU negative stars, I would.

This was easily the worst exam experience I have had in over 20 years of studying. The process was stressful, confusing, poorly managed, and completely disruptive.

For a service that is supposed to support secure online exams, ProctorU made the entire experience far more difficult than it needed to be. The communication was poor, the interruptions were unacceptable, and my approved adjustments were not handled properly. Imagine getting you to agree to an adjustment being asking you to cover it up with a cloth. OMG.

I would not recommend ProctorU, especially for students who require exam adjustments.

This company is a scam. Second time I try to take an exam and they take my money and cancel the exam without any further explanation. The support is a joke and no help. They laughed at my face during the call and just said nothing can be done. 3 hours on the phone and the best they can maybe do is let me take the exam 7 days from when I originally booked it, meaning time is lost and this they cant reimburse. The biggest scam in education, I have no idea how serious companies keep business with this joke.

On my exam date, I waited 3 hours only to find out my exam had already expired. They later regranted access, but when I tried to book, the system showed no available sessions.

Customer service was extremely slow, kept asking the same questions over and over, even though I had clearly explained the issue multiple times. A complete waste of time and very disappointing.
