While most grammar checkers act as simple "linting" tools for text, ProWritingAid functions more like a full-stack IDE for writers. For users who prefer data over intuition, it provides a level of granularity that competitors like Grammarly simply don't match.

Well, as a native speaker of other languages
This helps me relax and just write in the language I want.

When it works, I appreciate the grammar suggestions & other tools under the "Report" menu, but it's incredibly buggy & needs improvements. Like when the grammar suggestion window pops up, it's so sensitive that if I don't mouse over precisely, the suggestions disappear & new ones reappear. Also, when the suggestion box shows more suggestions than the 3 displayed, I can't click the additional suggestions. Another bug is that it will not move on to the next suggestion. It stays stuck on the same part of the paragraph/sentence even after I've dismissed or made the changes.

Often, a window pops up saying the site is having issues & cannot save my work. Luckily, I save my work in Word, but this happens too often.

I paid for lifetime use of ProWritingAid a few years ago and have never looked back. it was one of the best investments I made.
It picks up my grammatical errors and my spelling errors. It has made a tremendous change for me whenever I post online.

I enjoy your platform and community. However, I dislike the reliance on AI. I believe that the best way to inspire writers is through personal and human responses. Spell check and rephrasing are helpful, but humans are able to write in a way that a computer never will be able to, with emotion. The best way to lead is through example. The program corrects for human error as well. Simple typos are detected quickly and efficiently.

I bought a year subscription to ProWritingAid thinking it would help out with my grammar with Slack messages, and emails. It did not offer much suggestions for rewrites or adjusting your tone. I asked for a refund of the product I had only had it for less then a week but they a 3day refund policy that I was not aware of.

Most companies just refund you, if you not going to use their product, thats the ethical thing to do. I would not recommend using this company.

ProWritingAid is the best editing app out there that I have found. Using this app has helped me with fluency and rewording sentences and paragraphs to make the chapters in my books flow better. The app is also affordable and comes with amazing editing tools. I recommend the year premium pro, especially for writers. For a writer, it's a need for sure. If you haven't tried this app yet, you should. You won't regret it.

Using ProWritingAid has been a lifesaver. As I'm writing this review, even, I am getting real time feedback on my writing. That is what I strive to see when I am writing for fun or my personal book. I love to see how it affected my writing prior to this. My grammar is sharper, and my style of writing has shone through. Without ProWritingAid, I would have been lost and inexperienced. Thanks to an advertisement I saw while watching YouTube, I now have this tool in my life :).

I really do love that I can get a lifetime membership and not worry about a monthly subscription. The only two problems I can think of, is that when you try to ignore a correction, it will ignore it for a little bit, but then once you restart the page, it will pop back up. Second, the spelling correction tool can at times suggest a totally different word even when I miss my desired word by a letter or two. Though it is naturally my fault at times.

It's good and helps correct mistakes fast.

I really like prowriting aid since I type a lot, but I dislike that I am a poor student who is using the free version and when I am fixing all my writing errors. There is a ton of premium correction, and it fills my entire page, and there is nothing I could really do to remove them. Can you do something about it?
