Better than a simple spell & grammar checker, I learn why things are wrong.

I really like the ideas it gives me as a writer,

For me, English is my second language. So, I want someone or tools to correct my grammar. The biggest thing I like about your service is that I can select "Rephrase" to rewrite in a native speaker's language while also learning to write.

I discover features I never knew it had all the time. I love this tool. My favorite right now is the Rephrase and Sparks to edit while writing.

love this app! it is rarely wrong! the only thing that i dislike is the limit, I cant subscribe to it because my family doesn't know I'm writing a book! Overall love it!

It helps with editing and catching mistakes I miss.

I mostly use rephrasing and synonyms tools, to enrich my expression in English. The software is fast, intuitive and therefore really helpful for this purpose.

So far this has been a good experience. I am impressed with how many more errors ProWritingAid finds than MSWord's editor. I have been using the free version for line item self editing, and I will likely upgrade when I do the second draft on my next book---which I wrote the first 50K words of in the November Novel Writing Challenge.

It's all in the reports! The style reports, the readability reports, all of them! The chapter critiques are great for getting a quick read on how I'm doing. Combined with advice, events, and assets from the community, it's a total package service. Sure, I could write without it, and nothing replaces human feedback. But I enjoy the act of writing even more when I use it, and that keeps me typing.

I've just started using ProWritingAid, the free version, and as a beginner in writing and poetry, the tools are very useful for editing. I am curious to know what the full version would provide. ProWritingAid includes categories for writing that focuses on certain genres or areas, but I wish there were more options for other literary muses and writing such as poetry. I can tell the developers primarily made this program for books/manuscripts.

I like that this program corrects everything I write, but I don't like that it won't critique what I need it to.

The manuscript critique and chapter critiques have proven very useful in seeing my work with fresh eyes. Though I disagree sometimes with the recommendations, I find the perspective helpful in ensuring I am communicating what I intend to. The Improve tool points out spelling, grammar, and flow issues while you are writing, which has saved me time in the editing process and has been a real game-changer. It is a little quirky to work with using the Firefox plugin, but worth it either way.

It corrected most things, but sometimes I would write something like this: I lvoe ProWritingAid. It would recognize that I spelled "love" wrong, but would correct it wrong. It would change it to, "Illolvoeve ProWritingAid." Something like that. Usually, it is great.

Helps me fix my writing, a good helper when you're new to the author thing

It's very useful for quick fixes as I don't type as accurately. Heck, I used it to type this review.

I use the plugin when working in Word or Google docs which is convenient for my process. I also use the dashboard for more in depth revisions, which is great to have it all saved in one place.

ProWritingAid provides exceptional editorial services. Sometimes I have to disable it when in creative mode, but when in edit mode, it is outstanding.
