I do not know why the department of insurance in CA uses this company at all. I have had several agents take exams through PSI. They are super frustrating to deal with. Their customer service is outsourced and not helpful at all. They won't correct errors in their own system and they charge you even when the mistake is on their end and they basically say "too bad". Their log in is unnecessarily difficult to navigate and then getting your results is impossible. Error codes come up on their pages and they tell you to call back 7 days later to get your results that should be instant. When you ask them to tell you by phone what your score is they won't. CA dump this company and use a company in the US that can actually help!

They were super unhelpful when my valid id was on my phone and i tried showing them another ID. They canceled my exam and forced me to reschedule and pay the fee for rescheduling. They are so bad at understanding.

Beware of PSI.
The questions and answers are 100% set up for you to fail. In order to generate an income they need you to pay for exams and when they can get you back to pay for multiple exams, it benefits them. I’ve taken multiple exams for different certifications through psi and the way the questions are constructed. It makes all of the answers acceptable leaving you guessing to the interpretation of whoever wrote the exam. Basically, if you guess right on the exam you pass.
It shouldn’t be this way. It should be asking a clear question and putting the right answer as a choice, and not multiple right answers and relying on the interpretation of an answer by the person writing it.
Beware of this if you’re going to be using PSI.

The center was noisy as the other test takers were very closeby. Some moving on the chairs and others typing it very loud. The seat was very uncomfortable because it did not had any hand rest. I had to sit on that chair for my entire test period uncomfortably.

This company charge me $60 for their…
This company charge me $60 for their test that I could not complete I answered only two questions out of 150, nowhere and instruction does it say that you cannot leave the test, previous NPS that I took allowed to continue the test later so when I exited the test it submitted final results with only two questions answered; I called the company emailed to many different email support numbers including WTA and others and nobody was able to help, team from WTA didn't even answer to two of my emails that I sent them. I called the company and they told me nothing can be done, a few other emails responded as robot response without addressing nor providing any solution to my problem, the only solution was to buy their test again. I only asked for them to send the same exact test to me so I could retake it, it should not be so difficult I paid money for it I have the receipt, yet nobody was able to help

I have taken 10 exams through PSI and every time was terrible.
I have taken 10 exams through PSI and I have yet to have one decent experience dealing with PSI. Every single time I deal with communication issues with a remote proctor that typically can't seem to understand basic English or concepts. I think they're using AI chatbot proctors now. They don't seem to understand the rules that my organization sets for their exam environment or check in process. They are either unwilling or incapable of assisting or explaining the check in and testing environment process. In person proctors are almost just as useless. The software crashes constantly or is too slow to function costing valuable time on the tests. One time the software froze and I couldn't single the proctor or quit the program and it costed me 30 minutes off the ticking clock. Last time I waited for almost an hour past my exam time for an available proctor to check me in. I wish I could give it 0 stars 10 times, once for every terrible experience. All of my collogues have gone through the exact same process with the same issues. Anyone giving it more than 2 stars has to be a bot or paid.
