I really can't say how good the service was because I really didn't have any contact with the company besides signing up for the insurance. As far as obtaining insurance it was easy assesible . I didn't have to use for any issues which was a plus, but overall it was a satisfactory deal.

Information was clear, responses were clear and quick, purchase was quick and simple. A great experience overall.

We can only rate our experience with purchasing and obtaining insurance coverage for our rental car. As far as finding and buying the insurance it was very easy and the rates were certainly far more reasonable than what is offered by the car rental company. Pteet immediately sent a confirmation email and pdf format for easy printing. We bought the insurance, printed the policy, and were on the road in less than 30 minutes. It felt professional, however we cannot attest to the actual service as we did not have the misfortune to suffer an accident of any kind during our trip.

I purchased annual coverage. Quick, helpful response to questions about the policy. Easy purchase process. Proof of coverage by this policy gets me quickly past the rental car agent’s sales tactics. Purchase price seems to be a great value. Cannot rate any higher because the only way to know for sure the value of the policy I purchased is to file a claim. Fortunately I have not had to do that.

Update 5-17-18. I live in Texas and was looking for rental car collision/damage coverage since the rental car companies charge so much. In April, I purchased an Annual Basic Plan from Pteet for $125, believing it would provide collision coverage protection for a rental car. When I received the letter of confirmation, I briefly glanced at it, but didn’t read it fully. Several weeks later, I read the letter more thoroughly and saw in the Benefits notes section that Collision, loss or damage coverage is not available to Texas residents. The 10 day cancellation period had already passed so I thought I had just lost the money. I was angry at Pteet because the website had allowed me to purchase the bogus annual policy.

I wrote a 1 star review about my experience. Just a few days later, the company responded to me both by email and by phone that I was charged incorrectly for an annual policy due to a website glitch and they refunded my money. It seems they offer Texas residents a daily rental coverage policy, but not an annual one as the website said. You can see their explanation below my review. They have corrected the website. Based on their explanation and quick response to me, I no longer believe there was any deception on their part as I previously thought. I am upgrading the review to 4 stars for good customer service and will consider their daily rental insurance in the future.

I tried to cancel my policy but it was not in the system and I missed the grace period because I was on my trip when i was told to call back which wasn't great, but they retroactively fixed it based on my review.

Got the 1 year policy, it was only like 20$ more or close to that. It was great to not have to pay 3x the rental in ins alone!! Rental car place didn't give a hard to about the insurance or anything! So far everything has been the best!!

Have rented a couple more cars I thought rental companies might be really picky trying to say I scratched there car or something but have had no problems. This makes renting a car so much more reasonably priced!
