+ I ordered the wrong battery, and Qualisports was very nice about sending me the right one. Watch out! Their web page is misleading about the battery voltage.
- The connector (GX20) on the battery was assembled incorrectly. I had to take it apart and reassemble it. No big deal, but it makes me wonder about their quality control.

I had a good experience with Carlos. There was some issue with the delivery time frame and I had to follow up Carlos to get it resolved. I had to delay leaving on a short till the bike arrived but it did arrive in good condition.

fast shipping, $100 v-day discount a bonus. No written instruction in the packaging but easy to find online. It is the dead of winter here still so can't comment on riding it yet. I chose this brand and model because it was about the only one under 50 pounds.

I was gifted an old Velodor ebike with a broken throttle. I called about buying a replacement throttle. They said without the original sales receipt (3 years ago) they would assume I had stolen the bike, and refused to sell me the part. After online chat and a phone call with Carlos, this is how we left it: "Carlos- just to confirm, without the original sales receipt for a 3 year old ebike, you won't sell me a replacement throttle. And this is to protect your customers from, I guess, the next owner, somehow. My solution is, you say, to buy a new ebike rather than fix the old one.👍"

I bought a dolphin. It arrived in perfect condition except for a bent front sprocket. I was able to straighten it. The disk brakes were rubbing and required adjustments (thank you YouTube). The fenders are difficult to put on especially with the rear rack I also added. The bike is really fast and powerful. I can fit both dolphins in the back my van (my wife has one too.) Adventures await!

Wonderful bikes (I'ver purchased 5 of them) and wonderful customer service.

The bike is great and exactly as expected or better. The instructions to assemble is a video, which runs too fast, darken when paused, and lacks detail...While the bike is 95% assembled, they really need a written document to go along with the user guide for folks who are not bike techs. They were helpful when sending a email with questions.

I am impressed with the Qualisport Dolphine performance and ease of folding for storage and transportation.

I had an issue with my seat clamp. It needed a small plastic washer. The seat clamp is sold as a unit. I was able to purchase a similar washer at Ace Hardware. Quilisports sent me an email following up on my original inquiry. Several months later I was sent a second email inquiring if the issue was resolved.

I was at first skeptical ordering from a brand I've never heard of. I've been looking for a compact folding ebike and the Dolphin+ checked all of my needs. I would like to acknowledge the customer service has been outstanding. Years ago, when I was attempting to ride my 7 speed hybrid bike up the colossal inclines in the Albuquerque foothills, I recall thinking “If only I had a little motor that could push me up the hill.” Flash forward 10 - 15 years or so, and by golly, electric bikes were invented for me to do just that.
I am a researcher, so I pored over all the popular brands, and found a couple of favorites. But it was tough to find a bike that fit my 5’1” stature, and had all the bells and whistles I was looking for in an affordable price. And, after visiting a few LBS, salespeople told me I’d also need a rack for my car to transport them, which could run up to $1000. Yikes.
So I began a search for a lightweight folding bike around $1000 that had:
* Gears
* Lightweight
* Throttle
* Folding
* Fit my height
* 5 levels of pedal assistance (PAS)
* 20” tires
Ha Ha….not easy to find. I found a few, but they were either astronomically priced, or heavy or otherwise did not fit the bill.
Until I found the Qualisports Volador, and its positive reviews on EBR and elsewhere. Folding, 38 lbs, 7 speed, 5 levels of pedal assist, throttle, 20” x 1.95” tires, suitable for my height, $1200 price tag and there seemed to be a robust group of owners and responsive customer service. I would have liked to have test ridden or even sat on one, but this was an online purchase, so I took a chance.
I’m so glad I did. You can order direct from the website or through Amazon, and I took the Amazon option and received the package in a few days. It was relatively easy to finalize assembly on, though shout out to Qualisports — please include a pdf download of assembly instructions on the website for those of us who aren’t video-oriented. My red Volador is adorable, comfortable (I am still amazed at how comfortable the original seat is — I didn’t expect that, and planned to buy an aftermarket seat, but no need). The 350W motor easily powers me up even the steepest hills. It was much more gentle than I expected — kind of a feeling of wind at your back giving the boost you need — no jarring surge forward.
I’ve used the throttle a few times to start or just to see what it feels like to ride without pedaling. But the beauty of this bike is at 38 lbs (a little more now with the rear rack and a bag on back with a Kryptonite U Lock — bikes are hot property and I want to hang onto mine!), it’s simple to pedal without motor on flat paths and slight hills. So anyone who thinks you don’t get exercise with an ebike —you’re wrong! You get as much exercise as you want!
The Volador folds and fits neatly in my trunk. I bought Flat Out to protect my tires from goat heads, though I haven’t installed it yet, so I’ve stuck to the streets and bike paths around my house. It’s a fun, nimble little bike to ride. It gives me a chance to venture beyond my usual walking route. One day I rode 11 miles after work — which isn’t bad after not being on a bike for almost 20 years. I look forward to riding on the gravel paths in the bosque once Flat Out is in my tires.
I’ve contacted customer service a couple of times through the Facebook page and they were very responsive and helpful. And I even met up with a fellow Qualisports bike owner at the recent Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta when he and his wife were in town! It’s a great community.
And there is magic that happens with this bike. In addition to seeing a LOT of deer, I’ve been noticing people are really friendly when I ride by. I’ve walked along the same streets for years now, but when I ride, people smile and wave. I think the bike is enchanted. And it certainly is enchanting to ride, reconnecting me with that freedom I enjoyed in my youth, just my bike and me, exploring new terrain and going on adventures together. And even though I am sure to wear a helmet, the “wind in my hair” feeling is wonderful!
I bought a few items at a local bike shop and they were familiar with Qualisports and were open to working on the bike if need be — which I might need, since the front brakes have been squeaky from the get go. That — and the need for more written information — are the only two issues I’ve had at all.
For folks who say you can’t find an affordable, lightweight bike — I say look into Qualisports Volador! You’ll be glad you did.

We have our e-bikes now and are just waiting for the weather to clear up to start riding, every issue we have had to get all of our merchandise has been phenomenal, the customer service has been so great ! I would definitely buy from them again !! Eddie and Karen in Arkansas

I love my Volador! The only thing to consider is that shipping was not from Canada, so add customs and taxes. The service in Canada is not here. Bike shops / sellers will not service bikes they don't sell. So... I got a problem with rain and the main dial that was cracked, water got in. The bike was dead.
I decided to order that electronic part.Hopefully, got it by Qualisport. Super service to get the part shipped. A little expensive, but self repair because simply built. Did ride more than 1500 miles in 2 years, not much with 2 months less it took to find help with the main dial! Any ways, This bike and service is VG!

The online Support crew is excellent. They not only provided clear and responsive information but offered suggestions and video resources. Further, after my inquiry was resolved and the product I needed (battery replacement for 20 year old e-bike) had arrived they followed up again to see how things were going.

They helped me get the bike as soon as possible and went out of their way to help me keep it secured by obtaining one of the clamp locks. Great service, hopefully the bike lasts me a long time!

Extremely easy to set it up. So far very happy with the bike. Hopefully it will remain the same!

Rude, racist and ignorant keyboard warrior at QualiSports USA. The keyboard warrior hiding behind the screen, think she can demand her question to be answered. Instead of answering the consumers questions. Simply asked to talk to the advertising department and this is the response I get;

Earlier the previous month I was chatting with Quali Sports asking them what charger their Nemo model were using.

She asking for the receipt. Which I don’t see relevant. But I had lost the receipt. When I told her that she never ever helped me with the answer of what kind of charger the Nemo were using.
