Quantum Electrical & Solar Ltd Reviews

I had such a good experience with Quantum Electrics and Solar. After a previous install with a large energy provider that was completely mishandled, honestly, it felt like a breath of fresh air

From the very start, everything was done properly. Mason came out for the initial survey and spent well over an hour going through my setup in detail. He looked at our energy usage and then built a system around that. What stood out most was how honest he was. He clearly explained what I needed and, just as importantly, what I didn’t need. He stopped me from spending money on unnecessary extras like the gateway, which I really appreciated.

The system he recommended, including the Sigenergy battery with AI capability, has been spot on for me. You can tell it wasn’t a one size fits all approach.

The whole process moved quickly too. The DNO application was handled far faster than I’d been told to expect. Other companies had quoted over four weeks, but this was sorted within a day.

Communication throughout was excellent. Everything was clear, organised, and exactly as promised. When it came to the install, Harry and team were brilliant. Polite, conscientious, and really hardworking. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and everything was completed aesthetically and functionally to a very high standard.

I also asked them to replace my electric consumer unit at the same time, and that work was done just as well. It’s rare to find a company that gets everything right across the board, but they really did.

Aftercare has been just as good, which makes a big difference. I’ve already recommended them to several people and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for solar.

An excellent service from the team at Quantum from start to finish.

I spoke with at least 5 providers when making the choice. What stood out was Mason and the team’s knowledge, total professionalism, desire to do a first rate and aesthetically neat job whilst not trying to push a sale. The after install is first rate and they help you optimise return through tariff selections. The Q Code pack is an innovative idea so all the key info is readily accessible. I had a slight reservation when selecting as they are a relatively new company (c.5 years)- this is actually a plus point as they want to a do a great job to build their reputation. They also employ a young and keen team which is another plus for me. The products are excellent with long warranties for peace of mind. They weren’t the cheapest, but their customer service and enthusiasm tipped it in their balance for me and I have zero regrets in choosing them.

After spending a considerable amount of time with Mason—both in person and through detailed conversations over text—carefully discussing my requirements and exploring various ideas, choosing Quantum became a very natural decision. Mason demonstrated exceptional patience throughout and was entirely aligned with my thinking, ensuring that every aspect of the decision was approached correctly and without pressure.

As a tradesman and business owner myself, I’m particularly attuned to professionalism and standards of service. It was immediately evident that Mason has a genuine passion for his business and a strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. What stood out most was the absence of any sales-driven nonsense—just clear, honest, and upfront advice, with pricing exactly where I expected it to be. This ethos was consistently reflected not only by Mason, but throughout his entire team, which was genuinely impressive.

Once Blake and the roofing team had completed their work, Jake and Will undertook the electrical installation. Their work ethic, pace, and attention to detail were exceptional—qualities that are increasingly rare to see. I hold very high standards, and they exceeded them without question. Helena in the office was also exceptional with her communication and professionalism.

Overall, I can confidently say this has been the best experience I’ve had with any company in a long time. From initial consultation through to final execution, the knowledge, communication, and quality of workmanship were faultless. The system itself has performed brilliantly, we’ve luckily had consistently sunny conditions, we’ve relied almost entirely on solar power since installation, only drawing from the grid to charge our EVs.

I cannot speak highly enough of Quantum. I would strongly recommend them to anyone considering solar installation. This is a highly professional, well-managed, and exceptionally efficient operation—you will not be disappointed choosing Mason and his team.

Thanks once again to Quantum Solar Ltd.

Quantum were from my first contact with them to the point of full install, were very approachable, responded to queries promptly. When the install date was agreed, it was attended to from the point of delivery of the Solar PV, Batteries etc, to the install of the panels as well as batteries. The work does was excellent and they responded well to my requests to what equipment should be installed where. I would not have any hesitation in recommending Quantum Solar to my family and friends. Excellent company to interact with and they have very knowledgeable staff who work for/with them.

I cannot recommend Quantum Solar highly enough. After being let down by another company and shopping around Mason was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Solved all obstacles others had with ease, team were incredibly professional, installation neat and the kit absolutely stunning. Works an absolute charm. An amazing company. 100% A***

I first got to know Mason/Quantum Electrical for supplying and installing a V-Charger for my car. I didn’t know at first that his company also supplies and installs solar panels! From the first valuable experience, it was obvious that once I found out they supply Solar panels, I would contact them again. From consultation to installation, the process was seamlessly satisfying and efficient! Well done to the installation team!

We had a solar and battery package installed at our house. From start to finish, everything went smoothly.
Mason and the guys were professional in all they did.
The work was completed on time and all looks great.
Even the aftercare is top notch with quick answers to any questions we've had.
Would highly recommend, we're very happy.

We selected Quantum for our Sigenergy solar and battery installation for a few reasons. Mason was very knowledgeable when discussing our requirements and understood exactly how we wanted the system to be installed. We were able to easily make a couple of changes that included adding an EV charger and extra battery to the Sigenergy system. Overall, we are very impressed with the excellent quality of work and with the installation team leaving the site clean and tidy. Good support from Mason throughout the process from initial meeting, installation and post completion to discuss suitable energy tariff options.

Had another company quote and I never heard from them! Saw adverts for Quantum so thought would enquire. Mason came and gave a quote and explained how everything would work and gave multiple options. Had solar and batteries installed and service was great. Kept informed throughout and the work was done fast and efficiently.

My £650 a month bills are now looking to be more around the region of £150!

I would thoroughly recommend Quantum if you are considering solar or battery storage. 10/10

Had been thinking about solar for a while when came across Quantum Electrical & Solar. Leading lights in the business are Mason and Harry both of whom are registered National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting electricians and the company is accredited under the Microgeneration Certification Scheme. Mason designed my system and he was very switched on as to orientation, panel placement, equipment placement etc basically totally across the project. Mason is a delight to deal with polite, enthusiastic and knowledgeable (almost to anorak degree-although he doesn’t wear one!) and 100% focused on using his know how to produce the best possible system. The system was installed by Harry and his team including Will and Jake in a day. They were skilled, polite, tidy and hard working. The result is fantastic, Sigen inverter and 20kwh battery, AI managed. Extraordinary how it can pick up so many kW when you can hardly see the sun and it’s cold! The AI management just generates savings and profits constantly including emptying the battery late in the day to export at 0.15p per kWh, using the solar to always serve the house first and export surplus during the day making profit from solar and battery charged at 0.08p per kWh off peak rates and exported at 0.15p per kWh. Solar is a win win, save the world and save money with Quantum Electrical and Solar.

Mason and the Quantum team were excellent throughout the entire process. Mason was very professional during the initial survey, clearly explaining how everything would work and what the next steps would be. The price was very competitive, and the installation was seamless—from the erection of the scaffolding to its removal.
The installation crew were highly professional, and the whole system was installed and up and running within a single day. The use of the app and the next steps were also explained very clearly.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I would highly recommend them.

Quantum provided us with a large solar panel installation tied to a Sigenergy battery and gateway in Feb 2026. From quotation to installation it was a fantastic experience. Nothing was too much trouble for Mason and his team. Very professional and no hard sell. All installed in two days and then the scaffolding came down pretty much immediately. We’re now seeing great PV production even though it’s still winter. Well done Quantum!

Professional as they come, look no further for any electrical needs!

Very happy with the advice and install, clean tidy and professional fitted in one day, well done Quantum

We were very impressed with the time Mason spent ensuring we were satisfied with the proposed setup. The installation itself was highly efficient, and the support we have received since then—both with using the app and configuring the export—has been excellent.

Brilliant and professional to deal with. Mason managed our project, offering valued advice and delivered above expectations. Thank you!

Mason and Quantum were absolutely top notch from start to finish. Mason was completely thorough when he came round for the initial consultation and not pushy like some of the other sales people we came across from other companies. The price was extremely competitive and installation was quick and seamless. After the installation, Mason was also really helpful in advising on getting our tariffs set up and switching.
Would definitely recommend!!

Quantum installed our electric vehicle charger professionally and with clear attention to detail. They took the time to assess our setup properly, explained the available options clearly, and shared useful information without any sales pressure.

The installation was carried out with care for our home, kept clean and tidy throughout, and completed at very good value for money. I would recommend Quantum for their knowledge, fair pricing, friendly approach, and overall professionalism.

Quantum were very professional and reliable but most importantly very clear with their proposal and recommendation to supply and instal the V-charger! Highly recommend!!!
