I had an excellent experience with this team! They went above and beyond to make everything as stress-free as possible for me. They were very quick to respond to every question I had (of course there were a bunch!) and explained everything very thoroughly! Would definitely recommend to anybody and everybody!!

Honestly if I could give 10 stars I would. Being a first time homebuyer can be a bit nerve racking but Ray Duran and his team Patricia and Vasiliki really made the whole process as stress free as possible. His willingness to go above and beyond for us from start to finish was so appreciated. He was always accessible and just a true pleasure to work with. Ray and his team were able to make this a memorable experience for us and also took the time to explain things in detail every step of the way. I highly recommend Ray Duran of Quontic Bank!!

If i could leave less than a star i would! Quonic has been one of the worst banks to deal with! They will close your account without a legitimate reason and will not give you one. And will revoke your acces so you cant access your money! Closed my account for 2 weeks and still havent received my money.. do not deal with this bank it is the worst. Absolutely not recommended and their staff are clueless. It feels like talking a robot. They repeat the same info over and over

I came to Quontic with a pretty unusual situation, having excellent credit and seeking to finance my recent apartment purchase in Oregon. The thing was that our apartment is a co-op, not a condo, and our building is the only residential general market co-op building in the state, and no purchase/sale in our building had ever been financed; the process had not been laid out, the lawyers and escrow companies were clueless, the appraisers lacked easy bases for defining comparability, we were treading an entirely new path.

The building identified a potential lender, a distant credit union, and I worked with them for almost t6 months in an overpoweringly unsatisfying series of exchanges that led them to demand that I make representations that were not true (that it was an investment property even though the building rules prohibit renting it out) and their costs were high, their quoted rate unfavorable, their staff unreachable directly...after all that time I pulled the plug.

Then someone else recommended Marcelo Bianchi-Montana and Quontic. And we started over as refinancing. I was initially leery that the operation -- entirely web-based -- was legit. But slowly after research and cautious initial interactions I determined that it was. The team was uniformly responsive, professional, supportive, and creative. They seemed to relish the challenge and they seemed to want toi make the loan. They found ways over the obstacles that the Eyesores at the credit union found disabling.

So Marcelo, Ray Duran his manager, and the rest of the team that included Patricia Almodovar and Vasiliki Athanasopoulos were consistently pro-active, warm, and ahead of the ball. We got it all done and charted a course that others can now follow.

Kudos to them all.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but my experience with Quontic Bank during my home buying process was extremely disappointing and emotionally draining.

From poor communication, constant delays, inconsistent information, and last-minute conditions, I felt like my file was mishandled from the beginning. I submitted every document requested, remained patient, and still felt like the process was being unnecessarily prolonged with no real urgency or accountability.

The individuals I dealt with throughout this process included Joseph, Lisa, Julissa, and Christina. Unfortunately, my experience with this team left me feeling unheard, dismissed, and unfairly treated during a major life milestone.

After weeks of frustration, I decided to move forward with another lender — and the outcome spoke for itself. My new lender was able to close my loan in just 6 business days with professionalism, communication, and transparency the entire way through.

At this point, I will also be exploring legal action and looking into taking this matter to court based on what I believe may have been discriminatory treatment during my lending process.

Homebuyers deserve honesty, communication, fairness, and respect — especially when making one of the biggest purchases of their lives.

Me and family searched for homes about 2 years now and came across a house that we thought was out of our league, ended up getting that house even though we had no belif whatsoever, after Ray durans and his assistants process every call felt like a surreal moment and would end with excitement and joy!, 5 WEEKS and closed out dream home as a first time homebuyer!!! Without a doubt the best experience with them, just unbelievable work!!!

I have to admit to being a little skeptical at first using an online bank to refinance my mortgage, but I was pleasantly surprised all around with the process.

I had the pleasure of working with Marcelo, Patricia, Ray, and others through my process and they were helpful, professional, and courteous. Marcelo and Patricia did a great job of respecting my own timeline as well as helping gently nudge me when needed to get through the process.

My situation was a little different, but they handled it with ease! The guidance I got every step of the way was reassuring and not at all high-pressure. They helped me sort through various obstacles that left me frustrated at times and stuck with me til the end. (To be clear the obstacles were on my end, not theirs, and there were times I thought this wasn't going to be possible to get done.)

The closing went very smoothly and I'm now a very happy Quontic Bank customer.

The loan itself was a bit more expensive than traditional options, but timing was very important for me and the team delivered when it mattered most.
Overall , I appreciate their responsiveness, professionalism and ability to get the transaction completed efficiently.

I had the privilege of working with Marvin Harris and Sharon Ledbetter. They both provided exceptional service. They were quick to answer questions I had regarding my home loan options, line of credit, processing the loan, and, more. They were never hard to reach. Any anxiety I could of had was eased by their knowledge and support. I never want to go through a home buying or loan experience without them. I'm very appreciative for all Marvin and Sharon have done for me.
