Unnecessary stress
I had to deal with an email telling me that I hadn't mentioned an outstanding claim when applying. The details came from CUE. As I thought, and after checking with my previous Insurance Company, there IS no such outstanding claim. This caused me unnecessary stress and I had to devote time and effort to resolve it for nothing!

The Claims and Underwriting Exchange (CUE) is a central database that all insurers use, but errors can happen when information is uploaded to it.
