Unreliable service
I called to check that if I placed an order, it would be delivered on time. I was assured that the cupcakes would arrive the next day as advertised. Unfortunately you did not deliver until 3 days later, too late for the birthday date I'd ordered and the cupcakes were not fresh. If you are unable to deliver to customers, be honest. You failed to deliver and so therefore have disappointed a customer who will now not recommend you or ever return to re-purchase. You are misleading customers with your Next Day delivery which is unacceptable. Particularly since the delivery charge is very expensive. I called the courier who explained the fault does not lie with them as they didn't receive the cupcakes in time to deliver on the date your company promised.

We are sorry to receive your feedback and to learn that you were disapointed with the delivery service. You requested delivery on Saturday 28th March and in accordance with the request, we made and sent the cupcakes exactly as per the order on the Friday evening. The delivery to West Lothian was delayed by the courier and was completed on Sunday 29th March, one day after the requested date. Delays occur on a very small number of orders and we do recommend planning a delivery the day prior to an event. As your order was received late on Thursday afternoon, our next available preferred delivery date was Saturday 28th March. The delay was not a result of our shipping and we encourage you to check the order confirmation for the details of the preferred delivery date.
