Caitlin was beyond helpful at Belgravia store.

I had an awful experience after DPD failed on two consecutive occasions to deliver my item to a central London workplace. I was ready to give up on it but Realisation Par in Belgravia bent over themselves to help me and even made me a present of another item of clothing to say sorry. Caitlin (I hope that's how she spells her name) was utterly delightful, charming, and sweet ❤️

Misleading offer/refund policy

Ordered a dress under their 25% offer- it arrived and the material is horrific- my toddler daughter’s sensory scarves are a better quality and less see through, despite the dress costing over £200! (When you think Rixo/ reformation prices are similar but the quality of their dresses are 10x better). Decided to return it only to be told that anything bought under their offer is exchange or store credit only as per their t&cs. Went on the site and through the process again and it’s not until checkout when you scroll down the t&cs that the refund policy is explained. When you browse items, it says ‘discount is applied at checkout’ so I imagine lots of people are clueless. Just seems quite sneaky of a brand! Hopefully the next dress I get with my store credit isn’t as bad quality.

Great service!

I have shopped realisation for many years and have never had a problem with shipping. My latest order was a bit of a disaster as it was badly damaged I think in transit by the courier. It was not realisations fault so I was worried that nothing could be done. I wrote to their customer service to check and they were so lovely and helpful and arranged a whole new dress for me. They didn’t have to do it but made it so easy and it was really quick and well managed. I was thrilled. Honestly excellent service that you don’t get from other brands now days. Thank you realisation par!

RP dresses and David Bowie robe

My husband bought me two RP Par dresses and the David Bowie night robe, and they’re still my absolute favorite pieces to wear. The quality of the material is incredible, soft and made to last. The attention to detail, especially on the Bowie robe, is just fantastic. Every time I wear them, I feel both comfortable and stylish.

A gamble

Poor customer service, can be rude and sarcastic. and as you can see in some of the replies for negative reviews, often they shift blame back to the customer, rather than listening and improving. Lacks empathetic conflict resolution skills that can de-escalate a complicated complaint.

for the price they charge, customers will naturally require a more intelligent, professional and friendly level of service. Unfortunately, the service doesn’t match, much like how their sizing can be inconsistent.

Reluctantly, their dresses are nice and quite unique in the market which is why I still buy from them. But only if I’m really sure about an item, and prepared to deal with the hassles or treat it as a gamble.

Poor customer service

Recently bought a dress with a discount. Had double checked all the measurements before purchase and when the dress arrived it did not match the measurements. I contacted them and after a bit of messaging they finally agreed to a full refund "on this occassion" as if they were doing me some big favour despite it being their error, They informed me the dress was likely from an older run so size may no longer match that on the size guide. They were incredibly slow to refund and note if items are discounted they state they dont offer refunds which goes against UK online law and misleads buyers which in itself is illegal.

"RÉAL SALE RETURNS POLICY
Any purchases made during the July 2025 promotional period are eligible for return for exchange or store credit only. No refunds".

For anyone in the UK, you are entitled to 14 days to return goods whether discounted or not as clearly stated on the government website; accepting-returns-and-giving-refunds#:~:text=Online%2C%20mail%20and%20phone%20order%20sales&text=You%20must%20offer%20a%20refund,of%20receiving%20the%20goods%20back.

Don't order with them

Don't order with them. Their customer service is very bad. I didn't get my parcel 3 weeks ago, so it got returned and I still don't have my money back till today.

Customer service is a joke

I recently ordered two dresses from this company. I've shopped with them before and always shipped to a U.S. address. This time, their website said they no longer ship to the U.S., so I had to use a reshipping company in another country.

The package arrived at FedEx UAE, and there was a customs fee, which I was willing to pay. However, FedEx never informed me about the charge. I only found out by chance that the package was being held, and by then it was too late — the package had already been returned to the sender.

I contacted the company, and they said they’ll deduct $100 from my refund because the package is being returned. This is absurd. How was I supposed to know about the customs fee if I was never notified?

I won’t be shopping with this company again. Their service is unreliable, and there’s zero customer protection.

Update: I never said fee was my issue, I was okay with paying, FedEx told me they contacted you multiple times regarding this, but you never told me and the package went back because of you, and not me. As for a refund, you wanted to keep an 100 USD fee, and only refunded fully, after I complained via email million times.

Low quality and bad customer service

I ordered the Monica dress in a size small, which is actually slightly loose on me (size chart: 90-72-96, my measurements: 85-68-95). The fabric is incredibly thin and fragile, and was damaged after wearing it once to sit all day. I contacted customer support for a refund as I find this quality insufficient for a 255€ dress. They deemed it "wear and tear" and suggested I repurchase the dress myself. This brand may have some beautiful designs, but the silks they use are so fragile that just looking at them can damage them. Better to spend your money elsewhere.

Edit: after I wrote this review, customer service reached back out to me and offered me the choice between a replacement dress and a full refund, of which I chose the refund. The refund process went smoothly afterwards.

Poor after-sales service

The brand's actual warehouse for shipping is in Shenzhen, China, and I made the purchase within China; as a result, there were no customs clearance fees or taxes incurred when the item was shipped from Shenzhen to Shanghai. This does not constitute cross-border trade, and when I requested a replacement, the seller insisted on returning the item to Canada and would not provide a return shipping label, leaving the buyer to bear the cost of several hundred dollars in shipping and taxes—this is nothing short of coercion and extortion. It has been repeatedly communicated via email that this order does not fall under cross-border trade and should be handled in accordance with China's Consumer Protection Law; however, the brand disregards Chinese laws and insists on returning the item to Canada. We urge this unscrupulous brand to leave the Chinese market as soon as possible and refrain from profiting from our market if they are unwilling to provide adequate after-sales service.

Update: After negotiating for a replacement, I received a new size S, but the garment turned out to be defective, with the hem on the left and right sides being of different lengths, making the outfit appear asymmetrical when worn; I’ve sent an email requesting a return and refund, but I haven’t yet received a response; this is outrageous; how can there be such poor quality control, and are there no quality checks in place before products are dispatched?

Just dont waste your money and time, please

Didnt like anything from the clothes, very poor quality and high price.

& Not possible for refund with any discount, only store credits.

& Not true to size, Im size EU 38-40, and all clothes ordered are too small, but then I have to get size for XL!!!

& they dont have free return label, you have to contact them with multiple layers of customer service communication to confirm for a return, to confirm whether direct exchange or store credits, no refund, and you need to pay for your own label!!!

Very poor experience, and I hope others don't get fooled by their marketing & PR

Duties

I wish that Realisation Par would consider offering duties payable at check out rather than at time of delivery. A lot of online retailers are offering it now and as a Canadian I don’t feel comfortable ordering without knowing what these charges will be upfront.

Best dresses ever

I stumbled across these poor reviews and I am shocked. 95% of my wardrobe is Réalisation and I have never had a bad experience, and I’ve been shopping with them for years! Once I had to wait in line outside the Sydney pop up store cause they were busy, but that’s the worst thing that happened. The team are always so nice and helpful both in the store and online. Keep it up RP and don’t let the bad reviews upset you!

Amazing quality and customer service

I recently bought the Gai Dress from Réalisation Par, and I’m obsessed. The dress is effortlessly flattering, beautifully made, and feels amazing on. What really stood out was the incredible customer service. The team was so helpful with sizing and made the whole process feel personal and easy. You can tell they truly care about both their product and their customers.
Can’t wait to shop with them again. Highly recommend!
