If I could give it zero stars I would.
After being in business for 35 years I can honestly say that Recorra is the worst company I have dealt with
They have surpassed them selves these last few months though.
In a very busy time with the weather being lovely and hot, it’s paramount as a busy restaurant to be able to rely on your refus collectors
Sadly I have had to call several times chasing them after continual missed lifts for the last 3 months.
I have been patient as I was told that they were restructuring the company and service would go back to normal , sadly it didn’t!!!! I gave them chance after chance.
Missed lifts, lies, excuses and all the while the rubbish is building up. Continually asking to speak to a manager, never being able to. Eventually I had to pay a clearance firm to come and pick our rubbish up and pay myself.I am on a street where most of the other businesses were customers of Recorra
We have all now left and most are with coastal.
A great company that I highly recommend
Please stay away from Recorra if you value your sanity, they’re a total disgrace and totally incompetent. If you want a second rate service, bins that don’t lock, empty promises ( not empty bins ) then make the mistake of using this company.
There are much more reliable companies out there, who will respect and value you as a customer.

Didn't collect our bins as scheduled, when I called to chase they kept promising to call me back but never did.
Issue still outstanding and we are having to keep bins indoors which is extremely unhygienic! Very bad service all around, missed collection would have been OK as issues happen but the after service has been dreadful.

I've been a customer for several years now and there's been many times that they haven't come to collect the container from outside my business.
One time they said it wasn't even outside, even though I put it there myself the evening before! They were absolutely adamant about it and would not listen to me.
Most of the time when you try to call then there's just an answerphone. They never call you back and rarely answer your emails.
Its a really bad service.

For the past three months, I have been woken up before 7am every Monday morning by Recorra and another glass recycler. This time Recorra outdid themselves. Smashing glass in a residential area at 5.20am!!! I have sent photos to Brighton and Hove Council. -5 stars.

By far the best waste management company
In Property Management I have worked with many waste management service providers and Recorra by far has been the best. From communication to assistance or quotations and even collections. I cannot fault them at all.

We’ve had a great experience working with Recorra as our waste services provider. They’re efficient, reliable, and very easy to work with. It’s been weeks that our cafe has had to have trash outside the shop, uncollected until midday and sometimes not at all.
It’s the worst company we have ever had to deal with. The most frustrating thing is that we get charged if we have nothing to collect but they will take no responsibility for picking up late or not picking up at all. AVOID.

Our Helpdesk team investigated this issue and escalated it to our Head of Business Support. We discovered that your site was originally scheduled under a 24-hour collection timeslot, meaning collections could occur at any time during the day. While there were no major missed collections, we understand that having sacks outside during your business hours, especially next to customer tables, is not acceptable and does not work for your operation.
We’ve learned that your opening hours are 6:30am–5:00pm, and we completely understand your need for a cleaner and more professional environment. To resolve this, we have agreed with our Operations team to change your collection timeslot to 12:00am–6:30am. Our drivers have been briefed to ensure collections happen before you open.
Please rest assured that we are committed to improving your experience and preventing this from happening again.
