Was good 2x day Refresher course , well presented , lots of inter action and physical exercises , enjoyed catching up with new changes

I found the course really helpful and interesting and finished the course feeling a lot more confident and educated about things

Red Cross make learning basic and vital first aid skills so simple. It was easy to register, good value, at a great location and the course was delivered brilliantly - just the right level of information to help you retain the vital bits. Good amount of role-play (wear loose fitting clothing) - my trainer and the people on my course were lovely and it was really fun. I feel confident I could do CPR if I had to (hopefully never!).

The instructor was so enthusiastic and friendly that it was difficult not to be engaged

Good experience coverall

The first aid training was informative, well delivered, and I found the content very useful. The trainer was knowledgeable and kept the session engaging throughout the day.

However, I was a little disappointed with the refreshments provided. There was only basic tea and powdered coffee available, and no lunch was included. Considering the cost of the training, it would have been nice to have better catering and a proper cup of tea during the breaks.

Overall, the training itself was very good and worthwhile, but the refreshments and hospitality could be improved to better match the price of the course.

Great course, a relaxed but hands-on and informative learning experience.
The only thing that would be valuable in my view is talking specifically about cpr for women. A female is less likely to receive help and I think including that in the course could go some way to reducing the statistic.

Friendly instructor who was engaging & informative, regularly checking that we had retained earlier topics & not just moving ahead.
Mixed group of knowledge made for interesting discussions on what someone thought they might do or someone explaining what they had done in a certain situation.

I found it very informative and never realized how much I had not forgotten since the last refresher

Great instructor with bags of real life experience makes a huge difference to the learning. Plenty of practical work and regular learning cross checks. Very enjoyable course. Fast-paced (because it was a requalification), but made very smooth and enjoyable by the instructor (Dan)

I loved this course. I've done the three-day course before, but I was so glad my company put me on it again since there was new stuff to learn and take in.

The trainer was absolutely amazing. Lavinia really knows her stuff; she has lived experience of treating everything we learnt about and made the subject matter interesting and (if it's not poor taste to say this) fun to learn.

I think it's a testament to how good the course and trainer were, considering the lighting in the windowless room we were in gave me a migraine on day 1 and a headache on day 3. So for me to have still been eager to listen and learn despite that speaks volumes.

A fantastic first aid course delivered by a knowledgeable and engaging trainer. The practical exercises were excellent, the content was clear and relevant, and I left feeling much more confident in my ability to respond in an emergency. Highly recommended.

The instructor was very thorough and explained different techniques really well, I especially enjoyed the fact she did lots of practical sessions for us to put the theory into practice to help us secure the learning.
