Hey there,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback - we understand how frustrating this experience may have felt, and we’d like to clarify what happened.

When a property is moved to a status where we’re unable to match it with agents, it’s typically because it does not meet our platform requirements. In most cases, this is due to the property already being actively listed for sale under a signed agreement with a real estate agent.

Because of this, we’re unable to activate the property on Redy. We strictly respect existing listing agreements and cannot interfere with another agent’s active contract. Redy is designed specifically for homeowners who are not yet represented and are looking to connect with agents to list their home.

We do send a detailed follow-up email explaining this process, and we’re always happy to assist once your current listing agreement has expired.

Separately, we do want to address your comment about agents on our platform. Redy has a network of over 22,000 real estate agents across our marketplace from all different brokerages. For that reason, the claim that we are “fake” or do not have agents is simply not accurate. Our ability to connect sellers with agents depends on meeting the platform criteria outlined above - not on agent availability.

All agents on the Redy platform are fully licensed, vetted professionals from a wide range of well-known brokerages across the country - they are absolutely real and actively working in their respective markets. Agents choose to participate in Redy because it gives them access to motivated sellers, and in return, they submit competitive proposals that include cash incentives and detailed service offerings.

There is no cost for sellers to use Redy, and commissions are not increased by the platform. In fact, our model is designed to create a more competitive environment, where agents put forward their best terms in order to earn your business - giving sellers more transparency and choice than the traditional process.

While asking friends and family for referrals is one option, Redy allows you to compare multiple qualified agents side-by-side, review their experience, and communicate with them directly - all in one place - so you can make the most informed decision for your home sale.

That said, we do want to clarify that the goal of Redy is to create transparency and competition among agents, so sellers can compare options, negotiate better terms (like the reduced commission and upfront cash you received), and choose who they feel is the best fit. In your case, you were able to secure 1.5% and $1,800 upfront, which is a strong outcome compared to traditional models - but we absolutely recognize that cost savings should never come at the expense of quality service.
