This is a scam - do not pay this company.

This company sent me a letter and requested $449 to pay for the company annual review. I pay the fee straight to ASIC. But this company won’t refund the money. It is a SCAM! This company should pay a penalty for what they have done.

Moral compass is clearly broken with the employees of this company! Misleading letters deliberately sent out prior to ASIC's normal timeframes in an attempt to gouge $.
Have reported to Scamwatch and if there was a Scumwatch I'd report there too! Sorry you didn't get my hard earned money!

These people are total frauds and the scum of the earth who have been banned by ASIC in all dealings since June 2026. Don’t trust these worms 1 millimetre. They will just steal your money. Verify their deregistration by reading the ASIC press release in June 2026. Search “ASIC press release Registration”.

Unsolicited invoice for payment. Looks legitimate until you read fine print. Highly irregular and misleading. Regulators should be taking firm action.

So I gave them a ring to find out why my company would be doing a review with reg.com.au. They have a very nice bot not providing answers to the questions; just pushing for payment. Scam.

ASIC and the ACCC are aware of the company pretending to be ASIC REGISTRATION but it is unclear if the scam will be stopped.
There are news articles claiming the company is trying different scam names like ABN lookup to scam even more businesses.

Received a false and misleading renewal notice for my business name in the mail.

The date that the notice claimed my "Business name is due for renewal by" was FALSE. (Official ASIC deadline for renewal was 1 month later than stated on the renewal notice).

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SHAM. Pay your Business Name renewal directly to ASIC or use your existing trusted professional adviser.

UPDATE: ASIC has now *cancelled* this business's approval as a registered agent.

SCAMMERS pretends to be the official registration company.
ASIC is where you register your business name at a third of what this unethical company charges.

I received correspondence relating to my companv and believed it related to an ASIC compliance obligation. As a result, I paid the requested amount. After reviewing the correspondence more carefully, I realised this was an optional third-party service rather than a payment to ASIC.

I contacted the company and requested a refund The company initially offered a refund less an administration fee, but ultimately provided a full refund following further correspondence.

Prospective customers should read all correspondence carefully and ensure they understand exactly what service is being purchased before making payment.

Unconscionable conduct. The ATO and ACCC should take action against this company.

Unfortunately like many others, i am a victim of this disgusting company. Numerous attempts to contact them and dispute their T &C's, have fallen on deaf ears. Pigs. Have lodged a complaint with ASIC and reported to my bank as fraud. Fingers crossed I get my money back.

Completely deceptive. The bill looks like a legit registration document that requires payment. Only when you read the bottom of the page, does it clarify that "Registration is a third-party annual review service provider. We are independent of ASIC. This is not a bill. You do not have to pay any money." What an absolute scam.

*Edited to add: I’m obviously not a customer of yours as I received the letter and had already seen other people post that you don’t actually have to pay (thanks Brittney Saunders). If I had not seen the post online, I would have paid this invoice, as it is made to look like a bill. Luckily I didn’t blindly pay the invoice otherwise I would unfortunately be a customer of yours.

You send out the “marketing” letter in hopes that people don’t see the fine print and pay it. While you may provide the service after payment, you are deceiving people into obtaining your services in the first place.

The fact you have asked for my information and then added my personal information in your reply. Shame on you.

This company is completely deceptive. They imply (and intentionally try to deceive) that they are a government body in their letters to small business, when they are not.
Truly horrid company.

So, to this company's reply: I'm not a customer of theirs because I realised they were deceptive after I received multiple letters in the mail from them, passing themselves off as an official government body when they are not.

Complete scam and criminal intent. Do not pay anything as you will loose your money.

As others have said, highly deceptive and unethical. Made to look official, it isn't. This is mentioned at the bottom of the letter however the "disclaimer" is clearly designed to be missed by busy small business people. They may offer a service but it isn't worth $400+.

Definitely a scam. Unfortunately they are so well setup that even Consumer Affairs Vic cannot decide if they a scam or fall within the lines of ligitimate business. I made payment in the evening of 27th of May by morning of the 28th of May I tried to cancel. The phone goes to a robot/ai and they are not refunding my money. The link they have sent only gives me an option to process if I accept a discount for a value undisclosed. Wonder who really gave them 5 star reviews.

Beware of this scam. Do the renewal youself, you don't have to gift your money to a buch of dodgers.
