Unreal mattress, highly recommend getting one from Relyon. Not sure who’s making these mattresses but they must be some sort of stitching wizards, craftsmanship is class. They must have some absolute legends of the mattress world working there, I’m a foam believer of this. Get one trust me.

Be warned that the mattress I bought has a horrible smell to it. I wanted a more natural mattress and loved the one I tried at the shop. When it came I knew I had to air it but the smell was so strong we left it airing for 2 days before putting it on the bed. We joked that they sheared a sheep and didnt wash the fleece but just stuffed it in the mattress. After a month, I contacted the shop where I bought it and asked for any suggestions regarding the smell because my granddaughter had even commented about it when she stayed. The shop spoke to Relyon and they sent an insurance man round to inspect the mattress. He was very thorough but didnt make any comment when here. I waited to hear the outcome of the visit but just got a quick email from Relyon saying they didnt find anything wrong with it and the matter is now closed.
I just want to warn people that they too could have this problem so be aware.
The mattress is extremely comfortable but has been overshadowed by the awful smell.

Recently purchased a sprung mattress with a pillow topper. Very much regret not getting one sooner. Very comfortable mattress. I’m a side sleeper and it’s nice to not have springs digging into my side. It has now given me a few good nights sleep and I’ve woken up pain free. It’s early days with this mattress but so far I’m very impressed.

Wide selection of beds to choose from , chose a middle of the range and wasn’t disappointed bed nights sleep I’ve had in a long time

This is an update to previous reviews on this mattress.
It still has the soft centre that is not as comfortable or supportive as the sides. A Castelan technician came out in November to check it out. It was deemed normal wear and tear. The softer centre was mentioned
So, centre unsupportive from the start, one side is bulging outwards, the top of the mattress is now wider than the bottom (one corner never did fully expand). I bought the mattress in March 2022 it has a 5 year guarantee. This mattress has been looked after, it has had a mattress protector on from the start, rotated regularly, has a good quality topper that I purchased to help with the comfort, but I still find that I sleep to the side for more support.
I can only suppose that the wear and tear was caused by the crushing and rolliing to get it into a box for delivery. The Express range appears to have been discontinued.

Great mattress - good nights sleep, will be buying another for the spare room.

Very pleased with my purchase of a new mattress (Woolroom - Lindisfarne) from Relyon.
The mattress is very comfortable and the customer service, of ordering to delivery, was Great - fully updated throughout.
Would recommend Relyon Beds Ltd and would be my first choice when buying another bed.

Unfortunately we have to write a negative review.
We have a 3 year old mattress with an 8year warranty.
The dipping in the mattress is causing difficulty trying to get comfortable at night. An independent mattress specialist came to view and took multiple pictures banged and hit the mattress etc and then came back with a report stating that the dipping was within guidelines. After contacting Relyon they kept referring us back to our shop provider who then in turn would direct us to Relyon. No one from the company offered any solution. Our shop provider did offer discount on a new mattress but with another 5 years on the warranty why can’t it be replaced? Shocking after sales from Relyon….take take take, can’t give !!!!!

Fantastic mattress, I'm really happy with it.

I ordered a king size divan bed and pocket sprung mattress from my local store, which was delivered within a few weeks. However although the divan base was very well made, the mattress was appalling. It was lumpy and bumpy and had body shaped dips in it to the point that I suspect it was somebody else’s reject. Our local store were polite but reluctant to take responsibility, saying they had to contact the manufacturer and we had to have it inspected and surveyed before they could do anything. To cut a long story short we took legal advice and that helped us to achieve a full refund. I would say to anyone that is finding it difficult to get anywhere with their complaint that the law is on your side and the retailer is solely responsible for sorting this out for you - just research it and make sure you know what your rights are under the law and don’t let them fob you off.
