Renewables Ireland Reviews

We have recently completed the installation of solar panels in our home. In undertaking the project, we appointed Renewables Ireland, whose commitment to meeting its obligations and tight timeframes was hugely creditable and was appreciated by us. From the moment we met the company’s Keith Lee, we knew we were dealing with a highly committed and professional individual, who was at all times available to answer any questions as they arose. The overall project was hassle-free and the company’s team was a pleasure to deal with. Service was excellent and we would highly recommend Keith and Renewables Ireland to anyone considering solar panels.

If you're considering a solar system do yourself a favour and check out Renewables Ireland. Their website will suggest what's suitable for your needs and provide an estimate of cost. No phone calls or pressure.

I recently had my system installed following a site survey by Barry who answered all my questions and advised what would best suit my requirements. The system was installed in one day. A very neat and professional job. Renewables Ireland take care of everything.

Excellent advice. Very smooth installation by very friendly crew. Just wish they had kept in touch a bit more during the 12 weeks we were waiting for installation.

Renewables Ireland are a pleasure to deal with from start to finish.
Barry walked us through our requirements and was always on hand to answer any questions. After the install he went through the apps to make sure we have a full understanding. Andrea in the office always came back promptly when I had a question or two. The panel install team were so efficient. And finally Paul and his team of electricians who where always on time, easy to talk to, worked amazing efficiently and were all so good at their job.
Renewables Ireland have a fantastic team and a great product.
I cannot recommend this company enough.

Really professional and quick and easy install

We've used the services of Renewables Ireland twice now - once to install solar panels and once for our EV charger. Recently Paul B (one of 2 very helpful Pauls at the company) came out to check my EV charger. I'm not especially technically savvy but he helped me set up the app on my phone that monitors energy usage for the house, car, the surplus that goes to the grid etc. I could see exactly there and then the effect having solar and EV charging in my home was having at that moment - it was really gratifying and so simple to monitor. Many thanks Paul for the great additional service and for the enlightening tuition on the app!

After a few years dithering about whether to get Solar panels installed, we bit the bullet this year and decided to jump on the bandwagon.
Having picked Renewables Ireland (based on reviews, rating on trust-pilot and being a local company), we contacted them to start the process.
From the start, where they recommended the number of panels, backup battery through to installation (We also got an EV charger installed at the same time), they were fantastic.
They were very professional, punctual and proud of their work, especially the electricians who went the extra mile to hide wires where possible.
The made the move to greener electricity very easy

Renewables Ireland team are so professional. From day one of meeting with Keith to discuss our requirements, to the installation day, they impressed us at every stage. The installation team with Jack at the helm were meticulous, so experienced and pleasant. We are thrilled with the installation of our panels and would highly recommend Renewables Ireland.

I bought a 14 panel solar system from Renewables Ireland. The team from sale to install were 5 star to deal with. Also good value for money offering. Their after sales service is super. Highly recommend them.

Renewables Ireland recently installed a 17 panel, 10 kWh solar energy system at our home.

What stood out was the level of care and service from their whole team from the office to the installation crew of 4 as well as an additional 3 colleagues that came to support at key times in the process.

In all there were 4 different nationalities on the team, but there was just one standard and that was ‘Excellence’ in the hardware they installed, their friendly demeanour, their hard work and their technical ability.

It was a pleasure to have them in our home for the day and to see how clean and tidy they left everything - even tidier than before they arrived!

We are delighting in watching the system deliver savings and sustainability through the App.

We strongly recommend Renewables Ireland.

Happy customer (Wicklow) since solar panels and hot water diverter were installed in April 2025. Appreciated the advice on equipment placement options and the guidance through the grant application.

Renewables Ireland installed our solar panels last year. It's a great company to deal with. They really care about their clients. Always available to answer queries and excellent after sales service. Highly recommend.

We are really happy with the work carried out by Renewables Ireland. We had solar panels a battery and the Eddi water system installed. The entire process ran smoothly from start to finish. The team were brilliant to deal with fast and tidy. Alex was especially helpful in walking us though the whole process from start to finish. Even after the installation they were always available to answer any questions we had. Grant process was seamless and they arranged it all. We would highly recommend Renewables Ireland to anyone considering solar or energy upgrades.

The Renewables Ireland team are amazing - ultimate professionals, so helpful and supportive through every step of process. Highly recommend.

From start to finish, my experience with Renewables Ireland was exceptional. Alex was my main point of contact and was absolutely brilliant throughout the entire process — knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely helpful from the first conversation right through to completion.

The installation team were outstanding. They were professional, punctual, and clearly took great pride in their work. Everything was well organised, clearly explained, and carried out to a very high standard. The team worked efficiently, kept the site tidy, and took the time to talk me through the system and answer any questions I had.

The overall service was smooth, stress‑free, and exceeded my expectations. It’s rare to find a company where both customer service and technical expertise are this strong.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Renewables Ireland to anyone considering renewable energy — a genuinely top‑class experience from start to finish. If you’re looking for solar panels, give Renewables Ireland a call and ask for Alex

Highly recommend, from first interaction to last everything was easy. They are a very well set up company, clearly have well established processes which is so nice to deal with. Alex was clear in his communication, on time and very knowledgeable. The installation lads were so efficient and clean, quite literally would not have known they were here. I put this off for ages thinking it would just be hassle, easiest thing I have done to the house for years.

Can unreservedly recommend- expert crew, from first interaction with Keith, through Rory’s rooftop expertise, Paul’s excellent wiring to the last app demonstration from Paul B! They are experienced, innovative, best solution driven and it shows in how they are organised and execute. I have a great system, neatly installed, a modular battery I can add to in the future and the job started and ended on time, the whole crew were friendly, neat and very proud of their work.

😊 Scoil Mochua's solar project Beyond the School PV initiative.

On behalf of our school board, staff and students "I'm delighted to recommend Mr Keith Lee and Renewables Ireland - they're tech-savvy, innovative, and passionate about delivering top-notch solutions.

We've partnered with them on our solar power project at Scoil Mochua in Celbridge, Kildare, and the results are fantastic!

Their team designed an 83.4 KWh PV system that's future-proofing our school's power supply with AI integration and smart energy management. It's providing about 80% of our power demand, and the savings are enabling us to invest in other key areas.

We're excited about the upcoming dynamic energy pricing in Ireland and how it will further benefit our school, they have us all set up for this one too.. If you're looking to go green and boost your energy efficiency, we'd highly recommend Renewables Ireland.

Thanks, Keith and team, for helping us make a difference ! - Ray Maloney, School BOM"
