Complete scam

First technical issue that I had is : I didn't received any email about the subscription being neither created or automatically renewed.
Second issue : I didn't had access to my own account to can cancel in time the trial subscription.
Third: doesn't appear on Play Store as subscription. Is a complete scam,lacking customer service and focused on their profits.

Rentola.nz seems to be a scam website

Rentola.nz seems to be a scam website. Wasn’t able to contact landlord even after paying a small subscription fee ($1.65) and the website will continue charging a subscription fee of a higher rate at $64. Worst part is it’s very challenging to cancel subscription. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE, total scam!

If I could give this company zero…

If I could give this company zero stars, I would.

Do not trust this company. I signed up for what was presented as a trial, and it was not made clear that I would be automatically charged £35. The terms and conditions were not clearly presented, and there was no proper warning before the payment was taken.

This is not just poor practice — it may breach UK consumer law. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, companies must clearly inform customers about ongoing charges before they are committed. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 also requires terms to be fair and transparent. In my experience, this was not the case at all.

I will be pursuing a full refund, and I strongly advise others to be extremely cautious before signing up.

This situation is completely unacceptable.

I was looking at properties online and…

I was looking at properties online and a property i like came up on this sight, it showed lots of properties and asked for a £1 sign up to get in touch with a private landlord, although i got no reply and no further listings. A week later they took £35 out of my account, the contact number just goes dead and when you try and cancel a robot asks you to confirm your email in a link, which then just loops round to same assistant question, i have contacted my bank, but feel i am going to have to change my bank account, surprised this company havent been reported as scammers.

They just took £35 of my account i just…

They just took £35 of my account i just went to this website once tap on landlord detail started asking for £1 so paid and after 1 day passed they took £35 of my account and now i am in loop to cancel subscription i did not sign up for , it scam website do not go or put any personal details
I need my refund and i am trying every way but there is 1 phone number that does not work and virtual bot chat send you email to verify account first i did not received any email second when you get out of chat to check email it goes away and you have to start again it 100 % scam and they frustrate you so you can just forget about £35
I need my refund as soon as possible

I initially had an issue with a £35…

I initially had an issue with a £35 charge that I didn’t expect, which was frustrating. However, after raising the complaint, the customer service team reviewed my case and issued a full refund.

While the situation shouldn’t have happened in the first place, I appreciate that it was eventually resolved and that they took the time to look into it properly

total scam and the phone number and contact details don’t work .
Just took £35 out of my bank and wasn’t aware I had subscribed and the computer system doesn’t allow any form of customer services at all to resolve any problems . My bank has raised the issue and are trying to get the money refunded . DO NOT USE TOTAL SCAM

I have not received anything from you and I am not using your computerised customer service route as I got 10

Don't give them your money

They say they put you in touch direct to landlord, but they take you back to the estate agents site. You go to cancel your account or get in touch with them they give you a magic link which takes you back to the beginning of the page. Don't let them have your money utter rubbish. I cancelled my subscription but no email confirmation as they promise and yes I have allowed email communication from you.
