Repaired a Canon lens that was discontinued
They repaired a Canon lens that the manufacturer no longer repaired because it had been discontinued. So I was over the moon that they would do it, especially as it was a small issue for an otherwise very good quality lens. Cost was fair and once repaired it was shipped back really quickly.
It would have been nice for a bit more communication during the repair process as it went silent for a few weeks. I would also have been open to the idea of paying more for an urgent turnaround option. But these are minor things, I'm just happy the lens was repaired. Will use them again!

Really glad to get my lens back …
Really glad to get my lens back after a delay caused by the courier (DPD). I'm not convinced I got the same box back although the packing box it was enclosed in had some damage to it so that may have damaged what was a brand new lens box. The lens looks great and works really well in a quick test. I'd use Fixation again but try make sure that the courier used can deliver as promised. I missed using this lens as I wanted to on our holiday because the courier didn't pick up and deliver as expected.

Fixed my lens which Canon couldn't
My 12 year old Canon EF 24-105 f/4L lens developed a fault. The Fixation people I spoke to on the phone were very helpful and efficient (in contrast to Canon UK, who had told me this professional series lens couldn't be repaired because they can't get parts for it).
After completing the online booking form and sending off the lens, I received a repair estimate within a few days. The repair was completed within the time they said (2-3 weeks) and was very well packed for return. Now works perfectly again.
I would definitely recommend Fixation, based on my experience.

My 4 year old Sony A1 needed the…
My 4 year old Sony A1 needed the Bluetooth & Wi-Fi repaired. After completing their online form & receiving a quote I sent my A1 in for repair. About a week later I received & accepted the final quote for the repair. Unfortunately Fixation had to order parts so a couple of weeks went by for the repair to be completed. On the return of my camera I was pleased to find how clean the camera was with no sign of the camera being dismantled and put back together, the sensor had also been cleaned. My opinion & solely based on my own experience is that Fixation is a professional outfit who take care of your expensive equipment. The only niggle that I have is that fully insured postage is not included in their quote & is a further cost to add to the repair.

Canon 5d mark 2 for a sensor clean
I sent my Canon 5d mark 2 for a sensor clean. The sensor was pretty dirty and I wasn't expecting a positive result. I'm very pleased with the sensor clean. It feels like I'm using a new camera, I'm very pleased with the result.

A high quality repair
The repair was fast, comprehensive, and of high quality. They did a whole camera scan, replaced some electronic parts and the handle cover, and cleaned the camera in and out. The estimated time was 5-6 weeks, but I got mine in less than 2 weeks.
