Resolver is an absolute life saver. It is just a shame many companies will not go on their list. perhaps this is due to the success rate. If it wasn't for Resolver British Gas would have had me going around in circles with my complaint and hitting a wall every time. But since using this I received compensation from British Gas along with my billing issue being sorted. It took a long time due to very bad and inexperienced BG customer service but as my complaint was passed to an energy Ombudsman who was very very good it was finally sorted with a nice compensation payment. As this has happened a number of times I just say to British Gas that I will raise it as a complaint with Resolver and the Ombudsman and we have been there before. Now they don't wait for this they just pay me compensation and the compensation is very very good. Happy customer Happy Resolver user. I always recommend this when needed. The date was a few years back but there has been issues since. Can't add a date.
I have used Resolver a few times and they are so helpful. Their advice and guidance on pursuing a matter are top notch.

I´ve used Resolver on several ocassions for flight delays and it was very useful. It is easy to use and companies reply if you communicate thorugh them. They have wonderful templates for cmplaints as well.

When I reached out to support they told me the only thing I could do was to reach out to them directly. Strongly recommend avoiding so you don't waste time like me.

I was recommended resolver by the search engine. I spent time completing the online form and then I forced to sign up. After which nothing. No case number no complaint visible. Complete scamming site taking advantage of consumers who have already received poor customer service and may be vulnerable as a result. Use the normal routes for escalation and not this nonsense website. I tried to complain about resolver but they don’t have a way to do that accurately too.

Received an “Important Security Update” email from Resolver despite never having created an account or had any prior contact with them. I keep a full email history going back over 25 years and there is no record of any interaction.
There are at least five other people on Trustpilot reporting the exact same issue in the past 2 weeks, which suggests this is not an isolated case.
I expect Resolver will reply here stating that they “only email registered users” and that I "likely created an account in the past". That is not sufficient. Under UK GDPR, they must be able to show:
1. How and when my data was obtained, and the lawful basis for using it.
2. If accounts are being created indirectly (e.g. via complaints or third parties), this still requires a clear and transparent explanation.
I’ve submitted a formal Subject Access Request via their support email to get the full details and have not received any response beyond an automated reply stating they would respond within 5 days - that timeframe has now passed.
If they cannot properly explain the origin and use of my data, I will escalate to the ICO.
I used Resolver to send details to Lufthansa regarding a recent problem in 2022. Resolver advised case has been sent to Lufthansa and it may take a while but if so contact Resolver again. Ok, I forgot about it and its now 2026. Resolver has just emailed me to ask about multi factor authentication. I looked up the previous case and when I hit the case button it required my email and PW. I put this in and it didn't recognise my email even though its just sent me an email hey-ho
