Lifetime mortgages are huge step for older borrowers and I think Mike would guide an applicant through the process fairly without a 'hard sell'

From the moment we met Paul Hood, we felt safe and confident with everything that we wanted and needed to know regarding releasing equity from our home. From our first meeting which took place at our home, Paul explained the procedure, listened to our needs and said he would find us the best company and lifetime mortgage to meet those needs. Sharon, my Equity Release advisor, was incredibly helpful and patient through out the lengthy process. She gave me in depth information guiding me through each stage, and highlighted the cons as well as the pros, making sure I knew exactly what I was getting myself into. At no time did I feel pressured or hurried along. Releasing equity from ones home is a large and important decision, Sharon was invaluable and extremely helpful throughout.

Paul was very calm and knowledgeable and I never felt he was trying to persuade me. This time the advice was equally good and my advisor Richard Austen gave very good guidance and was generally prompt and proactive through the application process even though JUST could be slow through some stages
