Be careful
I think their service is perfect for self employed and self assessment. But for them to try to apply for a UTR number for full time employed in order to claim a refund on their behalf is fraudulent. They end up causing confusion between tax payers and HMRC to the detriment of the former. And when you notice this and don't claim, they turn themselves into HMRC agents. One Maya is notorious at doing this so if you see her in your inbox leg it as fast as you can. Otherwise you will have a miserable Xmas. I wouldn't recommend and regret to have recommended it to friends. Scam!

Regarding the application for a UTR number, a common misconception is that this only applies to self-employed individuals and in reality there are many more reasons one is required. For travel expenses claims, higher value claims can only be made though self-assessment, which requires a UTR number.
