Mo from RightGas came out to look at the issues I was having with my 13yr old combi boiler. It had rusted in part and it had been slowly leaking over some time and typically these things are not noticeable until the cold weather sets in.

The booking process was smoothly and efficiently conducted via Domestic & General (D&G). Attendance by the engineer, Mo, was swift and he immediately identified the problem. Diagnosed that it needed a part, took lots of photos and placed the order.

I received a phonecall within two working days to rebook an engineer call out to replace the part.

Mo was sent back to my home and he took approx. 2hrs to crack on with the work. During his first callout, he was unsure the boiler could be repaired. However, he worked diligently and managed to repair it so all good for another couple of years as it is a really good Vaillant combi boiler.

What I liked about the engineer was that Mo was the only engineer to ever ask me for things like kitchen towels, old rags and a step ladder in advance. In the past, other engineers have used whatever they could find in my kitchen without asking me which has left me incensed as items have been contaminated or ruined. Mo was respectful of my home and kept me informed all the way - even showing me photos and parts removed/replaced to demonstrate what he needed to do and why. He cleaned up the area he had been working on when finished.

I would thoroughly recommend the partnership between D&G and RightGas.

I required an emergency call out to resolve issues with my boiler's connection to my flat's thermostats and the oiler's high pressure which I have never had to deal with before.

The engineer Lu was incredibly helpful. He called to let me know that he was going to arrive later than originally planned as he had a lot of callouts and when he he arrived he explained everything that he was doing so that I had a better understanding of the issues he was fixing and what caused them.

Our engineer Liam was knowledgeable, friendly and tidy. He saved our boiler by doing some simple checks other engineers hadn’t done in the past and made sure that he was reassigned to visit us to fit the part that had to be ordered in. A great experience and can highly recommend.

Considering the issues with the Boiler it was a pleasure to have the engineer - Mr L Chen - be so informative and professional in his work. Much appreciated and would definitely recommend. Thank you.

He was punctual, very competent, efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly.

Had Rightgas come to do a power flush on the home heating system as we were having issues with the radiators and the boiler temperatures fluctuating all the time. Price was more than fair for the work done.

Lucca was the engineer on the day and he was absolutely fantastic. I had more than a few questions regarding our heating system which he answered with no problem at all, explained everything in laymans terms for me to properly understand and happily showed the different valves to turn off and top up the boiler.

Was at the house for a good 5-6 hours and didn't stop the whole time. Was extremely clean and tidied up everything - was almost like he wasn't here. System is now running much better thanks to his help. 10/10 engineer.

Lucca and Ben were very obliging and carried out the rerouting of the inlet gas pipe to the boiler efficiently. Mains gas is now reconnected without any leaks.

Mo from RightGas was amazing! I could not recommend him more. He managed to fix my 10 year old boiler, and also explained everything so I have a better understanding of how it works. As a woman living alone, I also really appreciate feeling safe and comfortable which was very much the case. They were also quick to call and keep me up to date, and friendly as well. This company is always very responsive, but I’m particularly a fan on Mo, the engineer. A couple of years ago, he stayed til 10pm replacing a tricky part and saved my boiler in the coldest time of year. I am always happy to see him.
