I have never experienced such poor/deceptive customer service and had to involve American Express to get my money back.
I purchased a dress and subsequently returned it. The company admitted they had received the return. Despite this, I was not refunded, and no explanation was ever given. I dealt with Chyra, who promised much in emails but failed to deliver on said promises. I felt as if this was a stalling tactic

I have looked at other reviews about this company. Not refunding returns is a running theme. It appears to be in its DNA. There is also no telephone number to contact them on. An obvious red flag I should have noticed.

I was left with no alternative but to raise a dispute with AMEX. AMEX has now issued me my credit. It continues to investigate this company.

I also note that on RiverGoddess Facebook posts, there are rarely any comments from anyone who has purchased any of their items. That is another red flag I should have taken note of.

My advice to potential customers: think carefully before ordering from these people. Not all companies are as they seem, regardless of how flashy their social media advertising is. Maybe they are a legitimate business, but I, for one, will never take a chance with them again. Please don't fall into the same hole I fell into. Fashion is a crowded field. There are many other first-rate options out there.

Beautiful quality dresses along with fantastic and top-rate communication from everyone at River Goddess. I am extremely happy with all my purchases and adore my lovely soft flowing dresses; especially in the Queensland humidity!

Has anyone tried to contact River Goddess by email? I expect to be able to send an email without jumping through hoops to prove I am a human. The website sends me round and round the same loop, telling me again and again that I have put the (childish) picture in the wrong place. This experience allow will stop me buying anything else from them in future.

River goddess frocks are so comfortable and delicious to wear. They feel so good against the skin. Even though they come from the other side of the planet from me they arrive swiftly and I dont have to wait until the season is over before I get them. I have bought four dresses so far from them, great designs on each and will continue to do so. I cant recommend them highly enough.

Do not buy from this company unless you know for sure that you will get exactly what you want and it will Fit exactly as you want. I know they have a lot of great reviews but they must be from people who haven’t had to Return items and get refunds. My story is far too long to put on here but suffice to Say they have definitely made a lot of money out of me and caused me a lot of Grief and I haven’t really gotten anything to show for it. They asked for a review which I gave but of course they haven’t uploaded it anywhere because it is negative. Never again, apart from all the trouble I really feel that the clothes are way overpriced for what they are.
